I've just been browsing around and I see alot of the CM saying they want healable mind pools and/or mind being non-incap.
....
Come on... 2 professions in the game DEPEND on mind damage (woop sorry I forgot about ur mind diseases, 3 professions) and you people want them to have to HOPE they can hit one of the other 2 random HAM bars for an incap?
Common sense people. I mean healable mind pools might be useful if they found a way to avoid constant abuse (I liked the blue milk but you get full too quick. Mind should be readily healable just to balance everything out (if your health or action goes down to half and you've got good stims do you really care?) butmind still needs to be incap.

I tend to agree on this. Any of the pools dropping to 0 should be an incap, health, action, or mind. I can understand the wish to heal the mind pool as well, but there is one big problem. Lets assume that stims are made to heal all 3 pools, and there is a huge battle of equal number of people. Will the battle ever end? I mean if all 3 pools can be healed all the time, then when will the battle end?
Right now, from my experience, battles go pretty long already. Mind is the heavy constraint, but shouldn't be changed or PvP will get crazy with dabblers in full HAM healing, and some elite combat profession. The ultimate PvP template...an invincible doc/cm/master something class.
I don't think anyone wants this.

I think why you may see cm saying such things is because we often have many people coming on here and complaining about our ability to poison the mind, complaining that cm needs to be nerfed etc, so I think that many are just looking for a solution. The nerf combat medic is a common them on these boards

I just mastered combat medic as a holo, but am deciding to keep it simply because I'm a better support group for friends as we hunt.
I've been seeing tons of requests for nerfs. Honestly, though, I hope they don't throw the nerf bat too much. The reason why is because I'm also a doc...docs and CMs are having a problem with our purpose in the GCW. I feel, that if CMs aren't nerfed, that a general balance of docs to CMs on both sides of the front. This would give purpose to both groups, which would help a ton. *shrug* though, if there are no docs around, then I can see people's complaints...but any good battle group should have a balance of all professions, not just one profession.
*shrug* just my 2cents

Uh...folks. The HAM Revamp portion of the Combat Rebalance will make mind healable again. Yes, you can still incap from 0 mind, but it can also be healed.

Thats some of the best news I've heard in a while. The big question is whether or not it is going to be easy to do like in the form of a stim, a special ability given to medical classes, or specialized crafted items?

Mind Healing Stim Packs have been in this game for a while. Storm Troopers drop "Damage Stim Packs" from time to time; Further NS Elder quests grants you some.
These are in the form of a stim a - c. Depending on your med use level - you can heal mind as high as 400pts in some cases. This is on my own experience.

The irony here is that a "good" doc in PVP is one that has enough points invested to remove their own states and can heal themselves thus removing the need for CM's to heal as often with areas. Now, I try to heal but the funny thing is I always end up dead because everyone that has any Doc is removing poisons/disease from themselves (usually -not a blanket statement on docs).
The other funny thing is a lot of people think of CM's as healing only. So, some folks are really talking out of both sides of their mouths. I think the Devs are meaning that Tactics = Teamwork to some degree. But, some folks have thick skulls and merely cry for the nerf without examining facts.
If the mind pool is to become healable, it should be by a master prof exclusively (make people spend those points) and it shouldn't be too powerful depending on the poison mitigation spice that comes with the smuggler revamp. (will this render A's and B's ineffective?)As stated previously diseases tick too slow to be effective in a hack and slash PVP session. It is not without merits for PVP however. So, it is my opinion that nothing will happen with diseases and they will be left as is. What I would really like is the ability to remove laziness states of PVPers and a stim to increase tactics.
PS Don't forget about poison/disease resist skill tapes/armor attachments/clothing loot drops. OMG! Another tactic!

Switch those 3 professions so that they mainly target another pool.

I find it funny that the only people I ever hear complaining about being KD are the combat medics

Try any profession that gets knocked down regularly. I.E. swordsman, pikeman, and some ranged professions. I may be a combat medic on one of my characters now, but on my other I'm a pikeman...and dizzy knockdown is really annoying. I'm glad it was nerfed, because it was abused. I used to be a TKM, I used it to start just about every battle before it was nerfed. I watch many duels now between TKAs and others, and first thing to ever get spammed is knockdown.
I now take knockdown protection if I'm doing PvP since it's still abused.
