I think I am missing mobs a bit more often then before but not enough for me to worry. I do notice my area poisons missing some of the mobs more frequently but I took that as the 5% and it seams about right. I'll pay more attention next lair I poison. It's about time I visited Dath anyway....

i can honestly say i've seen a 'noticable' increase in resist rates on mobs..
but not to such an extent that it's been an issue..
and not to such an extent that it couldn't easily be explained off by the random number generator being unkind lately..

OK I'm at home now and here's what I've got:
Health Poison C (single)
charges = 43
potency = 105
effectiveness = 318
duration = 235
range = 38
and...
charges = 43
potency = 102
effectiveness = 326
duration = 268
range = 38
Health Area Poison C
charges = 43
potency = 102
effectiveness = 235
duration = 272
range = 38
area of effect = 28
Using the best possible components I can find which covers the last 7 to 12 months. With the exception of Tolium Reactive Gas and a Liquid Petro that has a higher DR... I doubt there's a whole lot better to be found. No loot drops were used in the crafting of these however.

I have found that poisons don't stick like they used to in PVE. Although it isn't a huge change, It is inconvenient given the long root time. Never trust a Dev when they say they didn't nerf something. They are fairly clueless about the changes they make.

Well I tested the above listed poisons tonight on the mutated kahmurras on Talus. Weak creatures at best and I was still resisted a lot more than before the nerf/patch. My first mission I was resisted on 4 out of 6 single health poison C's and on the area C's at least 1 out of 2 kahmurras resisted each time I threw one. As I continued to do missions this percentage went down (thank God!) but I was still getting resists at least 20% of the time on my singles and more than that on my area poisons.
This is totally unsatisfactory that a nerf like this had to happen. Resists for PVP were enough! Why the hell did they have to screw with PVE too??!!! It already takes me at least twice as long to finish a mission off than any other combat profession due to the fact that poisons are slow DOTs and I can't shoot worth a **edit** otherwise.
I'm sick of these CM nerfs! I know that the CM's are in the small minority of players but making the whining combat types happy by nerfing all the COMBAT out of the Combat Medic is RIDICULOUS!

My plan was to be aCM since day 1.I liked the flexibility in being a CM. I agree that in PVP we were overpowered and didn't have any major problems with the nerfs up until this last one.
This last one is where I have a MAJOR problem. Whether it was intentional or not, PVE is screwed up now. My understanding was that PVE was going to be un-affected; well it's been affected! My poisons are not hitting the same as before... not even close! Some creatures are resisting them up to 80% of the time! That's ridiculous! I'm having to use three or four times as many charges to hunt effectively now!
I lived with the range nerf and found ways to effectively fight or hunt in PVE due to that. I lived with the nerf to my healing range as well. This latest nerf has almost done it for me though!
The current state of this profession is NOT COMBAT medic! If you (the devs) wanted us to be mainly healers then you (the devs) should have done this since the beginning! You've deceived me time and time again about what a COMBAT medic could achieve and this is ridiculous! What's doubly bad is that if you combine the CM profession with the Creature Handler profession; which is what I wanted to do since BETA.... YOU'VE NERFED ME INTO OBLIVION!
As a combat MEDIC I am practically useless in group situations. The only time my PA needs me is for a major hunt like a corvette run or the geo caves. Then I'm only needed mainly for mind heals, which I am extremely limited on and can't recover from unless I spend time in the cantina. That's not going to happen on the corvette or in the bottom of the geo caves!
Because of the OVERPOWERED buffs and the OVERPOWERED armor... a MEDIC is useless!
Please FIX the real problems in this game and make it enjoyable for ALL players!
PVE for Combat Medics has been screwed up!

I've hit mobs from low-level gnorts to DWB and Vette denizens. I've found no difference whatsoever in resist rates.
Anyone else finding a higher resist rate in PvE?

Well hopefully I just had an incredible string of bad luck!
Though I doubt it. Not sure they can fix the "heal code" so that PVE wasn't affected at all. I was resisted more by mamiens, skreegs, anglers (a lot more), the peko peko albatross,fambaas, and a few others I've forgotten. I'll do some more testing tonight... especially on ST's.

For what it's worth, I'm not getting the same sticks as I used to either. I've tested it out on NPCs and Players as well. I even had a duel with a non-buffed Master CH and I could stick poisons on him, but his creature resisted me every time.

Just wanting to point out that this is still a huge problem, and as yet unanswered by the Devs.
Does any other combat profession completely miss on their special attacks as much as this?
I'm still getting around 40% resist rate and sometimes up as much as 80%. Happens everywhere on any MOBs. My B's are 101 or 102 potency and my C's are 102 to 107 potency.
Still ticked off about this nerf since we were promised that PVE would be unaffected.
