Thread: CM's shouldn't be able to poison through walls

My guild and a few other people attacked an Imp HQ last night, we ahd exactly 16 people. When we first got in, it seemed to be going great, i had killed around 2 people already then. Then all of the sudden i get mind poisoned for a TON and get incapped. I look through the list, and the CM is at the bottom floor of the HQ, poisoning the entire group through the wall. My entire group was deathblowed in around 5 seconds of the poison. Now alot of you are saying, should have had buffs and everything, well i had full mind buffs+muon+brandy.This is completely rediculous. If there was no combat medic, we would have destroyed the HQ. Cmon guys, if you dont think thats overpowered, then your all insane.

did you forget to bring your doctors?? or were all 16 people "god templates"

There were 2 docs, they were down before they could do anything

I dont think that you've ever been inside of an HQ filled with imperials. To get to the CM we would ahve had to burst run through the entire thing to get to the bottom floor, but by then, we would have poisoned our entire group, becuase CM can poison through walls, which is incredibly stupid

well you know every other class at the bottom of a base can shoot through walls as well don't you? so you can't blame combat medics for this bug

Yep, either doc's or CM's need an ae cure. I personally think it should go to CM's, that way if each side has 1 CM they will esentially be able to counter balance one another... but thats just my opinion.

Yes, but not all professions can tick on a poison that does 200 mind damage everyone 4-5 seconds. Also, the idea about an area poison cure is great, that or we can just get rid of area poison.

First of all, i believe the tick is 8 seconds on poison. Secondly.. if you got rid of the AE poison/disease then combat medics wouldn't really be much of a class. The DPS of the combat medic class is NOT out of balance. The incap bug needs to be adressed and they will really be balanced overall. An AE cure and/or fixing the incap bug would be perfectly acceptable means of balancing the class imo.

Please push the Area Poison/disease cure idea to your new coorespondant, whoever he/she is. Its a great idea, and its the only real way to counter poison effectively.

Yeah i'm not claiming to be pioneering any new ground here or anything. This topic has been beaten to death but imo it is necessary for the continuation of PVP in this game. Some form of reasonable counter for AE poison/disease needs to be implemented. An AE cure is the best solution imo.

Good idea but hard to implement since Doctors don't want CMs to have any type of cure and CMs don't want Docs to have an AE anything.
