Seems any DoT is effected including pet DoT's so it's not just us. Hope this helps speed things along as we are most effected as all our abilities are DoT for most part.

Did a little more poking..
It appears the DoTs will stick PERMANANTLY. As in I dueled someone, and did a duterium toss. The fire stuck for well over a half hour but, of course, did no damage.

I have been testing as well, if you have a state put on you such as fire, normally you go in water and its gone. Well I was swimming in water for 5 minutes at least and the fire is still on me yet its not ticking. My beef is with the states on me I cant see when I run out of say Brandy, Canape, Ruby, Duelist Stance, etc cause of the states put on me.

I can confirm that CM dots and BH dot does not cause any damage to the creature npc or player i tested on. Not yet tested commando fire dot but it looks like dots of all kind dont work actually.
Im also afraid there are more bugs implemented with this Hot fix we just cannot see yet as they dont effect our main abilitys.

I also advise to check the debuff line of CM to see if they are also effected by this bug.
Another interesting thought is if this all is really a bug or implemented by intend by the devs since it is a debalancing issue Jedi will benefit from.
I doubt the devs will have any problem with making CM worthless like they did with many other profs in 2 years of SWG.

No, definately a bug. This is in no way intended.

In all honesty, I am glad this was brought to my attention. I wasn't completely unaware they didn't work, I just thought that the things I was fighting with were resistant to the DOTs. I've also been trying to use "stabilizers" from my doctor line, to no avail. It's supposed to remove states, but it doesn't.
