so, wheres a CM correspondant when you need one?

Filthy, I respect the work you did for us back in july. It was objective ideas that you helped get to the devs that got us all our first round of fixes and for that I must thank you. But buddy, you have been non-exhistant for the past month. I beyond respect the need for real life things but a month away from the game when the devs are swinging the nerfbat multiple times daily is unacceptable. We Combat Medics deserve more than what you can give and I hereby ask you to either come and update us, or tell the Devs to find someone else to do you're job. You arent doing it...

and with my lack of edit button I would also like to point out that on saturday it will have been 4 weeks since your last "weekly" update

What I dont understand is why sign up freely for a position knowing you cant do it because your RL wont allow you to, and if things came up that make your life so busy and you cant do it, why not step down?

considering the only notable new subject on the forums this past week is the people screaming for SOE to nerf CMs back to pre-patch uselesness, im quite happy with Filthys absence.

I thought he had said that he wasn't supposed to send in a new report until they get responses back from the first report and get those out of the way.

In his introduction he did say that he reads all the posts but doesn't need to respond to them all to understand what is going on.

Don't jump to conclusions please before you know what is going on. I think we should wait to see the dev's comments on our list before a new one is prepared.

Lol the sad thing is...i have a feeling 1/2 the answers that the devs give to our issues that we sent in a month ago is...

what u mean the patch didnt fix this?! send us issues that need addressing not thoses that have been fixed....

Y'know, I just did a user search, and the last thing Filthy Posted was a week ago today. If he didn't let anyone know he was going on vacation, then I see this as a breach of trust with the board, and maybe someone else should step up as correspondent. I'm sending an email tosomeone, anyone have an idea who our developer is?

Use feedback form on main page, it works very well.

On the other hand - what issues do we have that:
- Are not covered in his top 5 list
- Are not TEF bug (fixed today supposly)
- Are not (mind damage + no-LOS == overpowered ? nerf : shut up)

btw for all those complaining...

heres an idea..why dont u read through all the post in the past week and rank them in order and post to the boards...

no one is stopping u from doing that...

the least curtesy the guy could have would be to update us to say "I've sent such and such to the devs and they have told me jack"or "Heres my take on the dot issue. Heres my take on the los issue. Heres what I plan to tell the devs when they ask for more information"

Fact remains, Filthy is our voice to the Devs. If he doesnt tell us what he thinks, how can we be sure he will tell the Devs what the majority of us are thinking? We are left in the dark by our correspondent and that fact does not please me. He CAN update us with what hes been thinking once a week... it doesnt take that much time to type up such a post. He has the devs ear. His oppinion matters. If hes not here to share it with us and for us to share ours with him, why is he our correspondent?

honestly i dont think it matters what the correspondant is thinking...

its not his job to think about the issues...its his job to report the issues....

he's our voice like u said...so what should be coming out of his mouth is what we think not what he thinks...

1/2 the stuff that Zarlor and Traigus put up on their lists arent what they are worried about but what their classes are worried about...

what flithy thinks is pretty much irrelevant...what is important is that when the time comes to turn in the list of issues that he has fairly complied and ordered those issues in a way the devs can understand clearly

Well, okay, I may have been a bit premature. He's allowed to quit corresponding anytime he wants. It's really the DEVs job to ask for another one. If people are unhappy, they should then ask for another one, so that the DEVs know. Personally,I don't think he's entirely out of bounds, since we haven't been responded to by the DEVs; is it possible he hasn't sent anything to them? It's possible the other correspondents are hounding them mercilessly, while our guy is drink Long Island's and playing putt-putt somewhere.
