We should have an option to get rid of unwanted members of our city. Perfect example, had members of our guild/city go the opposite faction, and on top of that they would gather at the house to hunt Jedi in our guild. And you can't city ban them.
I say the owner of the structure gets 7 days to move out, with a email warning, after that the home is removed from the city

In this instance, what would happen to the player's items? would they just vanish? Something that hasn't been thought of I'm guessing. Now, that being said I have HEARD. As in, I did NOT hear it with my own ears, but, a guildmate of mine who WAS at fan fest DID hear the development representatives in one of their luncheons state that they were CONSIDERING establishing a method to sweep the servers and remove structures that had been condemned. This, in turn, would mean that a mechanic would have to be fabricated to re-deed structures with the items still in them. Or, at the very least, make them move to the safe deposit box, or inventory of said player. If this ever comes to light, then perhaps you may have a method to remove a player. Until then, I'm afraid you're up Sith creek without a lightsaber my friend.

I completely agree - a mayor should have some option to remove "unwanted" citizens from the city...

i also heard a lot of talk on the write ups from the fanfest that they were looking into ways for people to pick up their entire house, take it to a different situation and drop it still with all the items placed in their original positions in the house. makes the ideas of kicking people from city more viable i hope

I like that idea, I don't wanna boot them and have them lose everything
But would like to remove them. They griefed our Jedi, would meet yup to take our bases. And now the same house in the city the rebels have opened their own mall in a Imperial city, lol. The owner of the mall took our turrets out on our bases, and him and some other guys would farm the NPC's. I ended up pulling the bases and dropping a PA right in front of his home, lol. Haven't had any problems since.

How would you prevent this from being abused?

Once some one leaves the PA you ask them to leave, these guys were and refused. After that warning and house moved, lol.

I guess the fact that it's obviously a natural power that we mayors should have is the reason we have to ask for it.

You couldn't, however people don't care about other people being griefed so long as it doesn't happen to them. Yay NIMBY.
