Im runnin and im the only one runing for mayor and whenever i admit a citizen it says that i have there vote even though they havent voted, does that mean i have there vote or must they go in and vote even though it says i ahve there vote

Okay I petitioned, the ranks were closed, one open seat, mutliple people applied, how long until voting period is over and we find out results?

I was out of town fora few weeks and returned today . While I was gone some guy registered for mayor won the election then with drew from the race. Now I am getting a message that tells me I may not register in the final week of voting. There are no other candiates for mayor and no one is currently mayor. Will my city vanish? Why are there jerks like this guy in game man it makes me mad. Anyone know if my city is going to die?

Please let us -know- what happens.

In theory, if I understand the situation... if no one is on the ballot the incumbent mayor remains mayor. No problem.

If that turns out to not be the case please let us know?

I've not heard much about how withdrawing from a race works in practice.

He never resigned from the race.. What happened is he won the election and became mayor, then he stole some money out of the city treasury then he resigned as mayor leaving no city mayor and now because the ballot box is locked no one can enter the race. I put some money in the treasury so we dont lose the town due to lack of money. I will let you know what happens when the ballet unlocks

Is it even possible to resign? I just always thought that the only way to "resign" is to not register for the voting and have someone else run. But, I could be wrong. Let us know what happens.

And yes, the incumbant will win this election, just be sure to register for the next one.

He didn't resign, he just did not register to run. He will be the mayor for at least 3 more weeks.

No the guy formally resigned.. Here is what happend.... after he resigned the city made me mayor again.... So he ran for mayor... then won.. then looted my city mait pool, then resigned...When he did the city made me mayor again according to the CSR...

But all fo you be aware of this type of scam where if your not paying attention some joker can gank ur town by running for mayor if your out of town for a week or two and rob your treasury... Ask someone to watch the town when your leaving game for more then a week
