Let us sleep.Make us sleep, now before you flame me away think about it.
1)You have another bar which represents your sleepyness once it starts to go down you aren't that good at combat.
2)It would make scouts/rangers even more useful to bring on a hunt to make a camp you can sleep in while on the field.
3)You would have more RP circumstances.
Just think about it and tell me what you think.

Nah, making people have to sleep isn't a good idea. No one likes forced downtime. We don't have to eat or drink or sleep or any of the other mundane things that would be basically timesinks in the game. And a number of the recent changes in the game have been to REMOVE to timesinks (shuttle waits, entertainer healing/buff times, etc).
However, the OPTION to actually lay down and sleep would be a nice little feature to have at some point.

no kiddin it would be awsome, not to mention tell people "Ok you need to take a break for a sec, go to the bathroom or something."

I can't see sleepyness become a factor. The way I think about it... when I'm not in game my character is either asleep or resting. It's true that the game clock is faster then in RL and in game-time my character my not sleep for days... but having to head back to bed to reset is a time sink I don't want considering that I may have RL constraints on how much time I can spend.
Now perhaps a bed could find uses as a healer of BF... perhaps wounds... but it would be alot longer process then Entertainers/Medical Professions.

What would be nice, is to have both a "lounge" option and a "sleep"option for Couches and Beds. The Sleep option, your character will go to sleep and have the appropiate "Zzz's" and sound effects, as well -slowly- regenerate some wounds over time (as you're resting).

i don't think they need to add a new stat, but maybe make it have an effect on some current stats. maybe if you log out while 'sleeping' you heal all of your wounds or heal battle fat.

Sounds like someone playes The Sims 2 =)
I don't like the sleepyness bar either but making the beds useful would be cool.

As I said in someone else's post about having to eat to be able to play... I bought Star Wars Galaxies, not The Sims.
But yeah, actually being able to lay down on the bed if nothing else would be awesome!

Perhaps sleeping on a bed could grant a small buff, like +100 toevery stat or something, that lasts for a short period. Not enough to unbalance the game, but enough to make sleeping useful.
After all, a well-rested entertainer (combatant) is a happy entertainer (combatant).

I like the ideas of making the beds usable. I have made some bunkbeds at one of my house. It would be nice to have a top bunk.
