Thread: MAJOR issue with housing footprint fix

Im inclined to agree that it might be a wasted effort but I feel that its important to continue the fight nonetheless. Its not an objection to them changing the footprint, if they feel its such a pressing issue than it should be addressed. The problem is the length to which the "solution" goes. if only they would have not made the footprint so large then it might be something that we mayors could work with. As it now stands the medium naboo is one of the largest structure footprints in the game for a structure that is actually not particularly large itself. This is something that should at least be revisited once if only for that issue. The footprint now is such that makes it impossible for me to use even if there were no other structures around, being that I live in a hilly area of Dantooine. Give some leeway on the issue is all we ask.
Don't get me wrong - I completely agree that we should continue to fight. I just feel like everything we say here is falling on deaf ears. This change i must say was one of the worst ones tomake it to live inquite a while... especially considering how many cities there are that it has effected on every server. You simply can not change something that has been around since release day that effects Player Cities this drastically.
New and upcoming cities have it easy since they can work with this change and it *shouldn't* effect them too badly... however, for those day 1 up till Pub19 cities out there (which i would imagine there are thousands scattered from server to server) we got shafted bad. My city is also located on Dantooine and despite the hilly terrain we've managed to make quite a wonderful layout pre-pub19 of course. This change really does need to be looked at more carefully and I *hope* that we are being heard. ![]()
YAY!!! After all this time they listened, and fixed the footprint.
woot those that kept up the dialog.
pfft to those who said to give up.
