TH, please consider changing the tables that generate "lair loot" so that % chance of finding eggs does not go down with this change. It should be easy to just change the "live animal" samples we loot from lairs and replace a % of them with bait. I run a dairy business, and eggs are hands down the hardest resource in the game to come by. Despite being mind-numbingly boring to "harvest", they can't be obtained with 30K resource crates (a good thing in my opinion), so the only option is hand gathering. I'd have to argue that milk is far easier to get then eggs. I can net 10K milk from one lair, that same lair will give me 50 eggs if I'm lucky. Eggs are so rare that I've never seen a stack bigger then 5K, and I run a dairy business. Please keep this in mind. Obscure resource harvesters and BE's thank you in advance.
But i like having Moths/ Bees/ Flys/ Bats/ etc. on demmand ![]()
Nothing funner than releasing 4 creature habitats inside a crowded building ![]()

Thanks, and to the previous poster who informed me of the same thing. I was informed by a customer that you couldn't do this, had never tried myself. So he must have been mistaken.
And lol Tekhap, nice to see you back. Haven't see you since the old Swamp Creek days.

Then, my friend, you must learn the art of 'powerfishing.' A tried and true method of fishing that yields results.
1. find yourself a good fishing spot: high density and low vegetation as stated before
2. Stand in the shallows and face perpendicular (along) the shoreline
3. Cast your line and fish as normal, I usually tug right first, if i get a bite then i have a 33% chance of getting the next move correct, if i don't get a bite on the nibble then i tug up, then left and so on til i get a nibble or lose the bait. Once you get a nibble you have a 33% percent chance of getting the next move correct for a CAUGHT SOMETHING?!?, otherwise tug up, then left (or what ever order you choose, as you now have a 50% chance of getting the CAUGHT SOMETHING?!? result.)
4. Once you get a hit, click the small reel in, and WAIT FOR THE SYSTEM MESSAGE stating that 'you begin to reel in your catch' and then move quickly to your bobber, the reson you want to be in the shallows is to avoid hitting deep water and going into swim mode which stops you fishing.
5. When you get within 2m of the bobber the game will catch the fish for you without having to go through that tedious and iffy battle to bring the fish in.
6. I have caught up to about 15 fish an hour with this method, giving time for breaks and an average catch time of 2-3 minutes or so.
