I think that architects should be able to build stretches of road, like you would build wall modules or something. They could have different styles or something, and either change the skin of the ground they are placed on, or be flat highways with pillars under them that would just go under the ground like the base of a statue. That would be really cool, and it maybe they could provide bonuses to movement speed, the same way the holding a ranged weapon makes you slower. (Or at least it says that it does since cu) That would be really cool, but unlikley, just a thought...
