I'd get more ambience if the rivers, lakes and oceans actually had fish in them.

There are fish. Hence theneed for fishing poles.

But there aren't actually fish that you can see. And no sharks or whales or anything like that. I mean seriously in the old days before swoops and mounts, you could swim the whole corellian ocean and not get bit ever. Heck that happens now.

How about those on foot?...plus read the two posts directly above yours - LOL! There IS a point to having roads in the game.


*pays enraged Wookiee to find Bluejanus...but Wookiee gets tired climbing through ravines, getting face bashed in hitting trees, etc. on the way because there were no roads, so gives up...lucky Bluejanus.*

Actually there are visible fish. Check out any river or lake. You will see fish swimming around in them. I've even snapped some pictures of them at one of my fishing holes. If you wantI canpost pictures later tonight.

I always liked the touch on dantooine. The indication of ancient roads carved into the terrain as if from some long extinct civilization. Like a Roman or Atlantis flavor to it. Pretty cool.

While I've pressed for factional vehicles that can only participate in PVP, I still don't think there's much point in creating roads. But maybe in some future publish we can get SOE to hardcode roads from some of the cities on the hub worlds with each other. I don't have any good candidates though. Most planetary cities are way too far from each other to be practical road candidates.

I dont care about intercity roads, I only care about innercity roads. Why cant Basillica be as paved as Theed? And without roads, what are streetlamps for?

On dantooine there are roads all over the place. There's a road that leads from the Pirate outpost to the Warren. It continues to the north and eventually ends up outside the MO. I found a bunch more, and started following them around, and they end up at POI's or big Janta thingys. They even have little bridges over the rivers and small lakes (dirt bridges)...


Why they didn't do this with the other planets I don't know....

I found a small bridge spanning two foothills on Naboo once with a derelict droideka underneath.

Roads between npc cities would be a nice touch.

You'd travel faster on foot or speeder due to the level groud.

You'd have an easy visual on how to get from a-b when the server dumps all your way points again.

You'd finally be able to take that nice slow sunday drive youve always wanted to go on.

Oh and id have a place to put my fruit stand near =]
