/support Riverbend and Zafo

Riverbend if probably one of the best laid out cities on our server and quite possibly in the game. To have that in jeaopordy is absurd. Please change what you have implemented in Publish 19, punishing many for the wrongs of a few is not how to handle this issue.

Riverbend is a beautiful city.

I remember it being the first player city I went to when I came to this server. I would hate to see anything happen to it.

Imperia, Naboo on Kettemoor server has flat as a pancake terrain nestled between two rivers east and west and the ocean on the north. The old city layout consisted of tight groups of 8 Mdeium Naboo's arranged in 4X2 blocks. About a year ago, the layout was modified and is about half finished. The new layout consisted of neighborhoods where Medium Naboo's are arranged in a large rectangle with openings at either and and in the sides. In the center are large gardens. Both styles are now impossible to either continue or even fill in the missing spots. Some of the areas in the old city are always going to look incomplete now (until the dread character wipe). Luckily there are two large commons areas that have for the most part, no housing in them. So we will be able to contimue on with a modified version of the Block/Garden style.

However, if it were not for thse large flat areas Imperia would be, and to some extent is considering the old housing, in the same predicament as Riverbend. A city I have long considered to be the most beautiful city on the server.

I support this thread! Zafo, can you make one of those ribbon things where it displays a link to this one

Considering that these house arrangements existed on the Dev's sufferance of a VERY old placement bug, the fact that people who used that bug are now being screwed because its fixed is just a fact of life. These brownstones existed with an indefinite stay of executionthat has now been called in.

Adapt and be ready to make changes, life is like that.

I wish you all well in making the change to the new layout requirements, but given that Riverbend should never have existed in the first place in its current form, and that itwill likely notretain its current layout,those forced adaptations aregoing to be seen by the Devs asnothing more other than the system self correcting.

Thalnax, Naboo has the same problems. We have 175 citizens and that number can only go down now that this patch is in. Our city plan is extremely complex and we are the only city on Starsider which actually looks like a real city.

We have planned since the game began, now it is allruined. You cannot just jump in and make such a drastic change 2 years in and expect it to work.
