Hmmmm......Lets look at this in a database resource that is why there is a restriction and limit.

Ok, home with 200 item limit and no station counting.

Place 10 houses.

Put 200 stations in house.

Put 100 in each station.

Add all together.

200,000 items could be stored per player, not counting the bank, personal, backpack, vendors, and any other lot swaps also.

Oh no, never would anyone ever exploit that and no one ever would think that they have to have that space.

Good freak, i don't know a single artisan that needs that much space, but after this thread, i know to many that think they need that space.

If you don't have room for all the resources you think you need to be successful, you are either not running a real succesfull business, or you are the pack rats from hell. Come on, get real, the game servers can't physically support the amount you ask for and you are way to freakin' gready. The server is only capable of having so much data on it before it slows down horribly before the big crash.

I agree with you on this subject and I have crafters in my guild that are quite annoyed with this. A coupleare seriously thinking of giving up they're professions because they cannot store the items that they need to craft for their two crafting professions, decorate their houses and have the harvestors they need as well as factories. Yes there are people that collect all manner of things but isn't that the point of all the loot items that they keep duming into the game. If you want to collect all of the cool loot items, mission rewards, veterans rewards as well as the gear that you need for your profs and clothing and, well you get the idea. The storage limits are inadequate to support all of these items that we all want and/or need to have. With each new patch and/or change to the game are start to dislike the game more and more, and I know that others feel the same way. So many people have left the game over the last few months that you'd think that Sony would listen to our pleas. and as for the items in houses bringing the servers crashing down this would take a most of the people with accounts to all be online at the same time and to walk into their houses at the same time so that there is a massive influx of data being sent in for all of the items in these houses. This scenario is an impossibility so there is no danger of this happening, hell there's alot more data going on when there's a live event and you have close to 100 NPCs and as many or more players involved in the battle as well as the onlookers and the regular NPCs in the city, as well as the rain, shuttle traffic spamming and on and on. If this doesn't bring down the servers then the crafting station inventory bonus isn't either, besides all of the items in the stations don't generate until you open the hoppers so that's not a problem since you can only open one hopper at a time. I think people just love to give others hell when they say something about the game that they are displeased with. I am a hardcore Star Wars fan and have been since I was7 years old back in 1977 when I saw A New Hope and when I heard of this game I was extremely excited about it. Now I'm starting to think that it's been and has been a waste of my money. Of course SOE doesn't seem to care if people leave the game so we'll never get what we want from them. I'll have to seriously reconsider my account now.
