Sadly no, I get some lag too, but I've kinda started just taking it in stride. I expect it now, so its almost not like lag anymore. And on top of that, my laptop has low video memory so my mouse has like a half second delay on it. Now THAT is fun for crafting. Anyway, I think the only way to fix that is get more video memory. Thats what I'm doing this weekend...we'll see how it goes.

Bravo my friend.

When I was an architect, I couldn't find a good way to use the generic armoire and some of the other pieces. You have done a wonderful job with them.

I have found that the back side of the tool chests make great color accents for pillars etc in rooms. They are the only way I have found to make a green or red wall accent.

Ive got a small question about how you made the aquarium, i can see the bottom is a fountain, theres pole weapons, a couch, potted trees, fish you caught, but what are the things on the top, wall modules or something? All of it looks really cool.

In regards to thoughts on aquariums, I have an idea. Instead of a fountain, how about using the new hologram items? They cast a blue light that seems fairly localized and might emulate water. Just throw a few structure modules for the border with a hologram out of sight behind it and then float your fish. I'll have to give it a try if I ever get me one of them holograms.

I have thought about this, and my conclusion has been that the dark blue glow of the hologram would bemost successful for a deep-water type aquarium (like with the "ray" fish and whatnot), as opposed to the tropical ones that I've been making. So far the best lighting I've found is the mystical glowing orb, which glows day and night. BUT, those are a little hard to come by.

I like your continuous use of the false wall and making your own contours and hallways when needed. Structure modules work considerably well there also with a more consistent coloring and form to them than the bookcases though. Some of your seating arrangements are a bit busy so you may want to tone down on them or the background images involving 'em. I hate some of Mies's work but there come times when less truly is more. Also might want to try and subdivide the larger rooms in different ways than just the false wall at times to keep the openness and seclusion at once. Oh and also, don't forget about ottomans to have hidden seats like in your bedroom; I personally hide them in fountains whenever I use them just to have a nice little hot tub seat regardless of it being a terrarium or not

Overall good jobs though and some interesting ideas.

Thanks Kur! Your imput means a lot to me. The main reason I use bookcases over structure modules is they are bigger. Saves on object count when it really matters. Gryphon Hall for example uses all 400 objects, and I could still use more (4 of the downstairs rooms are merely a bed, a table, a plant and a candle in each). I'll see what I can do about toning down the seating. Any specific instances you were refering to?

I have a question, i am making a fake wall im my house and it covers one of the built in lights in my house. Will it stop the light because i have a hologram in the room and it doesnt look good when there is another light shining in the room.

Well its kinda random. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt, depending on how far away from the light the object covering it is. If its right on top of it it will still shine through. Hope that helps!
