I have had this idea for about a months, now...It is mainly to try and boost the architect profession, again. My idea is to create three new styles of homes Each homes would have something that is uniques feature that tie into certain professions. First, I would like to start off with a smuggling/bounty hunting/commando home; it will includes hided passages and rooms!

Smuggler Home
-Best Feature
-Trap Doors(Which can only be opened by those on the admin. list)
-You click on them you get the rotational dial and the option open trap door
-There will be a total of four trap door in the home.
-Each trap door is decorated to blend into a furnished home.
-One trap door is located behind a bookcase(leads to a secret ready room) on middle floor, one under a
rug(lead to a hidden storage room in the basement) middle floor, one a painting(opens into the study) upper level, and one looks like a trophies case(leads to the attic) upper level.
-350 items can be stored per home(can only be bought by a Novice-Master of a Elite Profression).
-Each home will cost 7 lots

My next home idea was inspired by the Ranger/Weapon Carrying Proffession/Creature Handler Professions!

Ranger Home
-Best Feature
-A Large Room located above the main home(like an air traffic control tower).
-Can be reach by elevator
-Each Upper Floor has a Permanent Weapons/Trophie Case
-Click on it give you the option of putting actual weapons/trophies in it.
-It hold up to 18 objects and displays them with an already proved source of light.
-Each tower can be customized in 3 different styles(Architect Option During Build Process)
-The house also has the same styles to match the tower
-Ranger Homes comes with ready room with shelves to put stuff on(like weapons/armor)
-350 items(minus the trophie case) per Ranger Home
-Each Home is 7 lots

The third and final home is for the artisan/doctor professions.

-Best Feature
-A large art gallery(which will span the entire height of the house)
-With a spiral stair case rapping around the cylinder shape of the room.
-Every two meter or so has a spot for the artwork and comes with one light per spot
-Total of about 26 spot or so???(Still undetermined)
-The basement will have shelves for storing resourse and 2 other rooms for storing finish objects, and crafting machines.
-Doctor have the choice of when the house is being built to get ride of the art gallery and have an infermory(sorry if my spelling is off)
-This room will have two bacta tanks built in and two hospital beds(undecide if this will be loot item or come with the home)
-The room will have a side room for a doctors office
-Plus each infermory room will have lots of room to place more beds and other doctor items.
-350 items(minus the lights of the gallery and/or the bacta and beds in the infermory)

-Crafter Home will have a more brick/modern feeling outside and statue's right by the door.
-Crafter/Medic Home will be a whiter more old fashioned looking hospital(still resembling the crafter home in style)
-Each homes can be customize in a few color palletes options(the Smuggler and Medic home will have the darkest and the lightest color palletes)

Mmk I read it and it sounds fine, but there are a few things. I understand they are specialized homes but putting predecorations in it and making them permanent probably wont work. That's toning down the customization. Now the trophy case is okay, but like a rug or bookcase, you can get those items so I don't think its a good idea. But I'm not trying to ruin your trapdoor idea (which is pretty intresting actually)
All though everyone will know where they are, no one but you can access them. Not bad. As for the tower, I love the idea of having one like a watchtower. My dad works at one so I have been in one or two before. Nice and peaceful with a pleasant view.
Great job over all! Oh one more thing though. The lots! Too much O.o Maybe 5, because I know they are specialized homes and I guess might need more lots..

What would make that really cool if you could hide spices under the trapdoors and ST's actually came and looked!

Nice!!!!! It would definately add some personality to the game. Maybe allow the architect some flexibility in designing the homes....color, additional features. They could personally design homes for a premium. I would pay extra for something unique.
