Thread: Let us change house wall and carpet colors from the managment terms.

That is all i want. To be able to change wall color and carpet color by room. I dont think that would be to hard to do. Maybe give each room acolor managment terminal. Thoughts......

actually, I've had a very similar idea... having architects customize carpets and wall colors the the buildings they make, that way the crafters would get something out of it

Man i dunno I want a blue room and a red room and a green room and a yellow room. I mean if i can have a swoop bike or a light saber why not paint the walls of my house. I dont like that every room in my place is all the same. i live on rori in the naboo style house and i am really getting sick of the damn pink everything in them. but i like the style of them better than the generic. I dunno I just dont think this would be that hard to incorporate into the game and i think it would be so damn cool. I mean look how far people have gone with decorations and such. Just think if they could change the colors of the place.

Any house should be color customizable, almost... I don't care by who, own or architect..
Tatooine house-Little to no customizability, maybe shades of brown..
Corellia house- More shades of grey, white, and black..maybe darker colors
Naboo house- A nice variety of colors to choose from, most customizable by far

Perhaps they could make something similar to the vehicle and droid customizations kits, call them a house or dwelling customization kit. Have charges on it to change flooring, interior walls, exterior color, lighting, etc...

Thats a much better idea than i had about the room terminals i would say.

I had a smular though!
I would be happy with the ability to go to the terminal of any building, and toggle the interior to look like a) Naboo interior, B) Tatooine interior, C) Contemporay Interior.
I love the feeling of space a guild hall offers, and choose to live in one ot thouse. I wish, however, I could toggle the rest of the buildings interior appearence to resemble a Naboo interior. ESPECIALLY downstairs, I hate the metal walls down there. If they were all Naboo interior I would be so happy!!!

Agreed!!! I posted about this a month or two ago. I would LOVE to change from the pink walls.

WHY not allow for all building styles to be available on all planets? But when it is actually placed on said planet the exterior defaults to the planet style. So what you might get is a Tatooine guild hall placed on Naboo, and the -exterior- of the guild hall takes on the brick appearence common to all Naboo styles. You could also have windows as well. Simularly, when you place a Naboo large on Tatooine or Lok, it takes the appearence of more of a 'sand castle'.
Building on this, it seems a small matter of coding that would allow us to toggel the interiors of all buildings to resemble the interior of any planet style we wish. So you could get a Tatooine guild hall that is all sleek and modern if so toggled, or classic Naboo. Simularly, a generic guild hall or house could be toggled to have the classic Naboo interiors as well.
Of corse, I very much like the idea of a customizable device simular to vehicle costimazation kit that would allow for us to alter the interors as well. The selections would be wall treatments, floor treat ments, window treatments (unavailable if Tatooine interior/exterior toggled on), with a varity of styles for each.
You thoughts?
