EnigmaCorp - Food & Drink
~~No crate over 85k~~

This is an effort to help drive down the price of food. Think about it people. Food is WAY over the top with prices. You can buy a FULLY uber droid with everything you'll ever need put into it, for less than a crate of Bivoli with the prices the way they are now. Items like that don't die, don't get "used up" So why should everyone have to pay VERY high prices for items they just use and use and have to keep rebuying?

This will also help those new to the game, currently i have 10 newbs a day beggin me for creds to buy armor or to help with materials to grind up professions. I honestly thing this is way out of wack, and I hope all of you do as well.

Here is whatI currently have in stock. I also have listed what is currently in the works for replenishment.

-Bivoli = +24 WT, 28fill, 15m 24s, 3use ---85k

-Brandy = +388 M/F/W 45m, 49fill, 21use ----75k

-Ahrisa = +403 Focus 42m 30s, 32fill, 3use ---- 55k

-Travel Biscuits =+17.316 TerrNego 17m 12s, 8fill, 7use ----35k

-Citros Snow Cake =+41 Attack Accuracy 22m 24s, 27fill, 4use (crate of 5) 25k (not making anymore cause it doesn't seem to popular)

-Jawa Beer =+16 Mask Scent, 17m, 23fill, 15use ----45k

-Canape = +686 F/W 9m 44s, 33fill, 6use -75k

-Synthsteak =38% DmgReduction for 35attacks, 25fill, 4use -45k

-Veghash = +30 Harvesting, 14m, 16fill, 5use - 55k

Soon to be restocking with:

-Havla =+101 Recovery Bonus, 23 heals, 33fill, 4use - Only 45k a crate!!!
-Vercupti of Agazza Boleruuee = ( +900 or more to H/A/M)
-Ahrisa = (+400 or more to Focus)

FYI: If i notice someone buying up all my stock to resell on another vendor I WILL ban you from my guild hall. I'm not doing this for other chefs to make money off my hard work. I'm doing this because something needs to be done to help reduce the price that everyone is paying for these foods.

Please check out the stock, and advice of any foods you would like to see more readily available. I'll do my best to get it up there for you.

Now i know a lot of chefs are gonna jump on me for this.

I'm sorry, i think food prices are WAY over the top. So are BE prices as well.

Think about it, Doctors make twice the amount of components than we do, and don't charge ANYWHERE near as much as we do for our products.

I'm going out on a limb here, see if maybe i can get some positive feed back on this.

If this thing get's flamed i'm just gonna ignore it.

Thanks and have a great weekend everyone!

If I sold food for those prices I would have to quit my real life job and play all day and night just to keep my vendors stocked.

I think your idea is nice but unrealistic.

thanks for 1 staring me, very mature

Ok then..

at least a lot of you agree with me on this.

We all want newbs to come into the game being able to play and not have to worry about running 500000 missions just to support their food habbit.

So, as a request.

Why don't we have a sign up for as many chefs as possible to reduce their prices. Maybe we can all as a community agree on REASONABLE prices for foods and drinks.

That way we have more return customers, and have more of a friendly relationship with the general crowd.

Personaly, i look at a profession like Droid Engieer. It's a VERY valuable resource to not only crafters but non crafters alike.

Why do i see droid expermentation tapes like +5 going for only 1mill, or 2mill at the tops???

Because the demand for them isn't so HIGH, and the prices of the droids themselfs aren't so stupid that it forces those who find those kind of items to sell them very high so they can keep up with everyone else.

It's just sad that the people with 100's of millions of credits have nothing better to do but to drive the prices up on everything because they deside they can't live with out an item with a buy out of 40million. I mean, how stupid is that??

That and i agree that the BE additives must come down as well.

I have my own Master BE, and just for kicks i wonder how many of you also have your own so you don't have to pay for them?

I'd almost be willing to make schmatics for free for all the chefs for a few months.. just to help drive down the price of additives and foods.

Something needs to be done.

Anyone wanna work with me?

I'll cheer you on and I'm glad you're not on my server, but I'm not lowering my prices. I spend hours running 4 shops and 8 factories close to 24/7. I harvest millions of units of resources when I find a spawn I need and I buy at outrageous prices resources that I need in order to make top of the line foods. I have millions in SEAs that allow me to make great food and I value my time. Unless business drops through the floor, I'll keep letting the market determine my prices and make profit as I always do. Good luck to you - keep us updated on whether you can keep any stock as at those prices I could sell out 20 full runs in a matter of hours.

I agree with the previous poster here... I sell enough crates at my normal prices to justify lowering my prices just to give me a headache. Supply and demand, right now (even with JtL) there is still a great enough demand. Which is also the reason BE's can charge what they do for components, frankly there arent enough on our server to supply all the chefs with components.

Charge whatever you want, but don't preach at other chefs when you have no idea of the price of meat people have to pay or how much custom they get (if i charged these prices my stock would be bought out by about 2 or 3 people buying as much as they can carry).

So i'll stick with my prices thanks.

Quite simply you are wrong about the prices. Noobs can afford food just not on the first day they start. It does not take food to kill nuna's. Noobs should not be in comp armor within the first week and they should not be chopping things up with a Scythe. So why do they need to be taking 2 swigs of brandy from a crate as well as a full unit of arhisa. We all sell as much as we make and have no problems selling out. With small adjustments to the prices we can keep people coming back for as much product as we can make. As far as your plan to ban people from your Hall good luck. If I were a competitor I would pay my guildmates to go and buy everything you stock till I ran out of people in my guild. Now think about this. That can be as many as what upwards of 100 or more people to keep you out of stock? So if I were you I would do some research and lower my prices to just a few K per unit below anyone on the same planet as you. That way you begin the process of lowering the prices. But you will also be more likely to avoid the possiblities of someone buying all you stock and reselling. Another way of helping the new player crowd is to have them join your guild and give them thier first crate so they can start to make money on thier own. Buy them armor and a good weapon. Get them to the point that they are making the money they need to support thier food habit. But good luck with your project. Oh by they way dont forget that only 1 guild may not be the only ones to try and stop you by buying you out so hmm say maybe 200 to even 1000 players buying up all of your stock. You will never get anywhere with this.

oops forgot to add the economy may change soon when and if the group revamp gets here but we will see. Personally I think what it will do is make all the solo players join guilds and some guilds will fall apart as they are nothing more than a collection of solo adventurers anyways.

Why would we want to lower our prices so much that we actually end up paying to be a chef?

I mean, maybe the prices for additives is low on your server, but this is extreme.

I honestly don't think Chef stuff is that overpriced. Money is easily attainable, and our products isn't exactly made with grind resources.

And then we need the quite expensive BE additives.

Look at Vercupti. It costs more than 100k in just components and resources alone to make a crate of 25, when you use highend stuff. It's the same for all of it.

This way i could make more by just selling the resources.

Another thing, the stats of your foods is quite sub-standard to what's "required" to be able to be a successfull chef on my server. So logically those prices reflect the sub-standard products.

I set high standards for my foods. I have certain "goals" for each product that i have to reach, or I won't even make it before better resources becomes available. I dump every single schematic if i don't get the amount of Amazing successes i need. Usually between 10 and 12 points spread over 2 experimentation attempts. No double-amazing = dumped.

That ensures high quality, when combined with 12 exp pts and high quality resources/tissues. But that also requires work and a lot of wasted resources/components. That ain't cheap.

Let's take my bivoli. Current stock is: +25.xx WT,16:24 Duration, 3 Uses, 28% Filling.

Those chefs who know what they are doing, also knows how goddamn good resources/components is needed to get these stats.
