I'm just about to Master Chef on Eclipse. I have used all my money & resources to get here. I am now going to actually make food for business.

I wanted to know what you have found your best selller to be? how much money you normally make in a week? which product you make most profit from?

You could also make this a good ad for your services. nb. I have no ulterior motives for asking this other than wanting to know the answers. I am not looking to undercut anyone but just get some market info from the veterans.

Also another question, do all food crates made stack 25uses in them?

all food crates are 25 stacks ya...

My best seller right now is probably angerian Fishak with Breath of Heaven being a close second. Fishak crates run between 60-80k depending on resources used/charges (I have a buff standard of about 580 then after that go to uses). Breath of Heaven I sell for 90k a crate (made with Alu). At first glance youd think ok more money from BoH but thats not necessarily true...BoH takes forever and 30 years to make. Its like 10 hrs per crate to make. But frankly I sell out of both before I can get a run finished in the factory.

My best sellers over the last month...

1. Fishak Surprise
2. Ryshcate
3. Muon Gold
4. Tatooine Sunburns
5. Breath of Heaven (Gated sales b/c of low production #s)

Other stuff that I make in general runs (and they all do ok): Ice Cream, Ice Blaster, Vegparsine, Flameout... and of course, my gated trinity of meat foods: Bivoli, Vercupti, and Glucose Pate.

It's nice doing automated sales tracking now, so I can try to always keep the store stocked with what's moving the best.

1) Fishak

2) Glucose

3) Sunburn

After that its about an equal spread between Bivoli, BoH, and a few others.

Keep in mind, I don't sell to the general public. Only friends and guildies.

At this stage, automated is a bit much, but it's getting there. A couple of days ago I posted this link on the chef boards....

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=merchant&message.id=15270

That thread links to an alpha stage SWG mail processor. You type your classy /mailsave command to save your inbox to your computer, and then this program processes your mail, filters out your vendor sales, and formats them into XML. The data pulled out are common things like Vendor name, price, product name, buyer, planet...

If you are computer saavy, you can further refine this with just about anything (excel, access, mysql). If you aren't that patient, the code comes with an XSL file to format it all into a semicolon delimited file, which you can cut and paste into notepad and pull it into excel really easily.

Right now, I pull the data into excel, and go nuts with pie charts/bar graphs. My only real limiting factor on analyzing sales is that I can never keep things like BoH in stock, so I can't accuarately measure demand for it. This is also similar to meat foods, which I do on a personal trade basis, so there is no email to document. I'm doing a "ramp-up" run to have a 50-100 crate surplus of my good items so I can see what I do on 3 different planetary vendors. Right now I currently keep track of a master customer list, a "preferred" customer list (1 million in purchases), best time of day for sales, and best planet to sell on/stock the most.

If anyone wants to help me integrate this a bit into a generic tool, send me a PM.

Top sells

Fishnak

Rhyscate

Ice Cream

Sunburns

Whenever I make Bivoli and Vercupti they sell out in minutes but I cannot make tons because of the lack of meat issue. Nor Glucose Glaze Pate.

BoH takes 6 times the aludium of a fishnak. So I make fishnak instead and only make BoH for special orders.

What are you guys talking about with BoH using aludium. It calls for alcohol. Can you substitute aludium?

And HOLY **edit**, 80k for a crate of angerian. I sell it for 9k and make quite a profit. Your profit margin is like 27 cpu for resources. How do you get away with that?

Please tell me because I would like to make that kind of money.
