9k a crate is just cutting your own margins to nothing. These are factory items, so you have to factor factory maintenance and power costs, plus your time. Why anyone would waste the time to sell Fishak for 9k a crate is beyond me. The value per charge to the customeris at least 400 usually 500 credits, and you are selling at about 40 - 50 credits per charge. That's a shame.

Aludium I know works out to be 3,133 cost per crate and takes 1.33 hrs per crate. Fishak takes 2 of them so just with alus you are up to 6.2k and 2.66 hrs. That doesnt count the carbo run or the final fishak run. Im guessing you are really selling at about...well under 1k profit per case.
Even if you dont pay 3cpu for resources but harvest yourself, your resources still have a value of 3cpu. You would get that a minimum for them if you just sold them and did nothing. So I assume we are talking about the value of chefing when making chef food and not mining resources

Nikki's words speak so much truth. I price mine currently at 60K and can't keep up. I started three factory runs of Fishnak tonight that should yield approx 60 crates and 10-15 are already spoken for. I imagine the other will sell out in either a day or two.
You guys are soo right.
To the people who are pricing their goods low. Put the words 'Supply and Demand' into Google.
HighDemand + Small Supply = Higher Prices
Low Demand + Large Supply = Lower Prices
I reccomend to people who sell Fishak or BoH sooo cheaply then you should stop, lets create a pricing cartel and make ourselves rich beyond our wildest dreams....*evil laugh* "Mwuhahahahaha" *rubs hands togheter* *mr burn's voice* "Excellent!"

I don't know why my domestic arts items sell better than my higher level items, but they do. I've had to raise prices on everything to keep up with demand.
I have three factories running continuously, and can't keep up with the demand. I've given up making anything else, or custom orders. Perhaps I'll start a line of Vercupti if and when I find a reliable meat supplier.
Silly me, I was only using alcohol in my recipes.. Now that I learned I can use aludium, the quality has increased by about 40% and so have my prices. I see what you guys are talking about with prices. I am selling BOH for 35k, but my angerian is still around 12k. That is a pretty good profit margin I think. I amy increase to 20k or so.
Thanks for the tips and I am glad I stopped here so I could learn about the aludium substitution. Incredibl difference, but incredible price.
Best sellers? It varies, but Fishak is usually on top. I restocked my vendors last week and barely made it through the weekend...I think there's 10 or so crates left across all my vendors. I spent saturday doing nothing but burning small stacks of resources making fishaks to ensure I'd have something to sell until the big runs finish (ie the ones I started today).
Best sellers...fishak, BoH, ryshcate, bivoli, GGP...sunburns are very slow sellers for me(I even sell them cheap too...muhahah).
I've been selling a wide menu...probably 15ish different items, but slowly cutting back as demand has increased for the core 2-3 items. It still amazes me that what some people will buy...

Amen to that! I sell my BOH and Fishak between 80k-100k/crate now and still can barely keep up, with four factories running almost non-stop, and I don't do special orders anymore either except for guildies. To me, the fun part isn't making money (nothing to spend it on) but rather in knowing my customers can usually find what they want at my shop. Probably my biggest pet peeve is travelling to a vendor only to find it empty, so I am loathe to do that to my shoppers... in fact when I am out of something I usually put a note on the vendor to let them know when to expect the next shipment.
But, I'm on an older server and money inflation is pretty high on Kettemoor. If you're on a newer server, you're probably not going to see a whole lot of jaded powergamers dropping a million credts on Fishak crates so they and their buddies can go pvping.
On the other hand, someone on my server posted a day or two ago asking what he should charge for Fishak and Rysh, and a respondent claimed he only paid 40-50k for Fishak and 10-20k for Rysh.. I just shook my head. If I were a tad meaner, I'd have asked for the waypoint to that shop and bought her/him out to make a nice profit.To answer the actual question: Fishak, BOH, Rysh, Sunburns are far and away my best sellers. Pate and Bivoli would probably beat all of those if I could get meat in decent quantities; as it is those two items don't last but a few hours on my vendor even in small crates (seems to be the trend). I've had decent sales on Ice Cream, Ormachek, and maybe Flameout, and Thakitillo too. Everything else, I'll just put up a crate or two, and sales are slow on them. I did notice something odd in the past few weeks - the action foods have been doing much better than in the past. I made some Cavellin to use up some pastebread. It sold the same day, so I made a few crates, and they sold quick too. Tried Kiwik and even Snowcake, and they also sold to my amazement. Did all the pistoleers suddenly wise up?

And GOOD GOD THE TIME IT TAKES TO MAKE, MAKE IT STOP.
Also the resources I use are very hard to find, no one harvests them and I cant afford to pull up my factories to harvest myself. I have started paying people to mine specific things for me when they appear.
I sell alot of everything even novice items for the simple use of decoration in peoples Houses and PA halls.
What I did was email alot of guild leaders and had them buy some single items stuff from me to decorate there PA halls, city halls, Houses and it has worked very well I might add. People are always looking for something to spruce up there houses to look the best, and thats where food comes in it looks good and everyone knows what it is. But for those of you who like my list it goes something like this,

3. Sunburns
4. Bespin Port
5. Breath of heaven
