I can't agree more, but i'm taking it one step further...4 accounts adios bye!

and to "force" us, the chefs and master chefs, to be dependent on artisans, tailors and BE's? Go figure! I don't play this game to be dependent on anyone...I can do that in real life!

I wouldn't care if they hadn't announced A SPECIFIC DATE when the patch was going live.I mean, don't tell me that the day our profession completely changes is the 12th and then miraculously make everything happen on the 11th. That is bollocks.EVERYONE that busted their behinds to get to masterjust so they could enjoy all of the new benefits IS COMPLETELY S.CRE.WED! I had everything set to finish master today and now that is completely blown away by the changes.

I agree 100% once again SOE destroyed another profession. I did chef for a holo 2 months ago and was going to drop it right away but started to like it(up until today) lol.

I just wish I had made more fishak before today ;,<

I dont think there was any conspiracy to get the patch in early to "scupper" chefs, I think it was purely teh fact that it was as ready as it was going to be, and rather than wait, they decided to get it over and done with.

I have to agree on the fail rates, especially in experimentation.
Yesterday, I made 20+ items plus some schematics, and had 1 crit fail & 2 experimentation fails.

Today, Im getting about 1in5 fails on experimentation, and Amazing Successes are back to having the same result as a fail...

Im not happy atm, but its earky days, and certainly not worth stopping playing a game I like so much over.

Perhaps they wanted 3 full working days (wed, thurs, fri) to see who cried the loudest and fixed those issues first. That gives them 3 full days of bug-fixing before the weekend instead of 2.

Cann't agree. They can always use that one more day to fix more bugs or do more testing. You made schedule you follow it. That's the rule. I have no problen for patch come in one day earler. but a lots of people do have their work scheduled for today. What is problem for them to wait just 24 more hours to put in the patch?

Totally agree these changes suck. Seriously, how does even 1 chef like the fact that not only do we need to make containers, we need the additives from a BE which isn't free and then make a component to put the additives in. I don't know what to say...too many bad thoughts in head.

This is the same argument as the "forced PVP" that is going around. Noone is forcing you to use additives. Noone is forcing you to make drinking with something higher than the current amount. Suppostedly Brandy comes out in about 7 charges. Why is that so horrible? Didn't Fishak come out close to that?

There is no reason why a Master Chef can't still sell food. Being dependent would mean that you can't make food without their help. That isn't true at all.

Sorry to see a lot of long time chefs go, but if people are leaving based on some little issues like not being dependent on others then there was probably other issues that you were having problems with before this patch. The patch was just want pushed you over the edge, not what got you to the edge.

Um, what are you complaining about? You can still technically make your food with out anyone elses help.As a smuggler if I want to slice anything more than a terminal, I'm dependant on and Armorsmith, or a Weaponsmith...I don't even get a choice of slicing with lesser results. I would look around armorsmiths are dependent on Tailors for cloth, and I'm sure there are more dependencies that you could find. Having to buy something from another crafter isn't that big of a deal.

*pulls hair out* well when you are forced to buy sh*tty food because the BEs cant get enough meat to make the supplements that ARE required to make the food be worthwhile, are you going to buy the crapola anyway? From what I see right now, the only thing in this patch that makes a good chef (as far as food) is how good of a BE they have access too and how many hundreds of rangers they have working for them.

Big freaking whoop, we can make it without a BE..and it can rot on the vendor cause it sucks so bad no one wants it...yay! Im so glad I can dump resources. The weaponsmith and armorsmith dont determine how good of a smuggler you are. The tailor doesnt determine how good the armorsmith is. So why does my BE determine how good I am?

Chef food seems to have been balanced with BE additives in them. So anything with less is nothing but garbage.

I fugured out how to fix this problem afterstaring for 30 min at my new schematics I went and drop all my chef from Master to Novice and you know what IT FELT GREAT LOL. I guess the 8 crates of fishak i have left are going to have to be use very sparingly.
