Thread: Flameout question
I asked about 20 of my good custumers, and every one gave me a very firm no to EVERpurchasing this product, though some may take synthsteak, so I guess it doesn't really matter to me anymore.
Anyway, in testing it just does 100%, it does not heal you
.
That's 100%. No damage. Never get hurt. for 3-5 hits. At all. None.
Weird.
About foods like this that affect the next X occurances of an event. Do they always stop the next X attacks no matter the time? For example.. could i take one of these then wait for my food/drink bar to go back down and still have it block the next X attacks? Also, could i take one of these, wait a while, then take something that reduces next spice downer, wait a while, take somthing else that effects the next occurance of something, ect, ect, and end up having a lot of these stacked up before i go into combat?
Also, does the food that reduces incap time work on the next incap or do you take it while incapped?
Thanks ![]()

good question. I honestly don't know about the first one, though I beleive it has been tested, I just don't remember the answer. As far as the incap food, you can't eat when knocked out, so before.
I have another question about damage reduction food, this time synthsteak:
Say i have a 75 percent suit of composite on, and I eat a 25% synthsteak. I get hit for 1000 damage. The composite blocks 750, so there is 250 left. Does the synthsteak take 25% off the 1000, thus making the total damage 0, or does it take 25% off of the 250, making the total damage taken 188 or so? I'm looking for someone to test this right now...
A female plains tuskcat hits you for 59 points of damage
Your Ubese pants prevented 46 points of damage (pants have 54.1 kinetic protection)
19 damage was mitigated by defensive buffs (synthsteak had 25% reduction for 32 attacks).
A female plains tuskcat hits you for 63 points of damage
20 damage was mitigated by defensive buffs

These buffs will work for as long as intended, or 1 hour. Whichever comes first.
So if you don't take X number of hits in 1 hour, you lose the buff. There are rumors that the 1 hour value may change (longer).

So, when armored, I somehow ended up preventing more damage than I took.
I tried the flame out with a heavy Nut, got 166%. Then did a flav heavy and got 75% for 7 attacks. Tried to get in as many attacks as possible. The flavor just wasn't worth the bonus and neither was filling. This isn't one for additives as they don't give too much to the drink. It's filling is also very prohiditive.
The synthsteak on the other hand isn't too bad. ~33% for 35 attacks or so.
