+200 doesnt go very far to the people who need 1500+ focus to be able to fight

And I just noticed.../shudder...Pikeman is a swordsman, maybe thats the problem. For all the broken professions, all the crafters out there that like to carry a blaster and maybe even kill something with it someday, these new buffs are going to be a tremendous leveling of the playing feild. PvP will now be determined by the smartest, and IMO thats a good thing.

Well Im a rifleman and I use food for mind buffs. I sat down with a pencil and paper and did the math. The mind stats are much worse over time - period. I can live with that but it looks like its gonna cost more for the little thats left. - more resources and time to craft. If Im wrong here ( I hope so) somebody post and tell me why.

I don't think these new buffs are going to stop a Bounty Hunters eyeshot as effectively as 2 GGP and a Fishak.... Dammit! I want to be a buffed up juggernaught!

This is my main issue as well. We get lower buffs that will cost us considerably more to make. Our customers just will not respond to that at all.

I'm not trying to be rude. But give it a bit of a chance before you cry NERF.

Can we cry nerf if we can add? That's the only skill required to see what's happening here.

Ok, whole picture here. HAM use changes are coming down the pike. With the right foods lined up, irregardless of you pools, the smart player will have an advantage. We have to fall back to Master dancer/musician buffs for mind, IMO thats fine as we should. Blue milk heals mind now, plus a will/focus food timed out, and muon maybe depending on what you've eaten and how you've eaten, smugglers delight as a precursor. Plenty of mind avail to make it through an elongated fight scenario. Given you have the musician buff, that 73% reduction in damage is a game stopper right there. Not to mention a loss of uber templates, now foods to increase dodge ability. Further into this we see, as I am no Chef, nor am I on TC currently we have absolutly no idea what this stuff is being made with, ie quality ingredients? Sooooo, with the proper foods, a smart player and a smart chef will get together and make some incredible things happen. Lemme eat some acc and KD resist food then smack the next TKM upside the head with my LVA and then you can deem whether or not it was a smart move. The oportunities are endless. IMO this is an ingenious way to bring at least a semi-balance to combat, and even non-combat classes. I can see the pistoleers havin a nut when their first volley of shots fail to land and a rifleman plants that bleed down. I mean really, I don't think I need to go into every possible application here, use your imagination. OK, good, so we get two players head to head that are aware of the possiblities and now it simply comes down to who got the better buffs, equipment, luck and server lag.

Chefs, my heart goes out to you. Yall now should know as the lady knows at home the way there is through my stomach. She gets my money, you'll get my credits.

one star that.

so dont make are stat buffs useless till the ham changes come through

We cant even complain about being 2nd rate smuggler/docs anymore cause our stat boosts dont even provide a noticeable difference to not using them now.

Anyone who has played this game for more than 2 hours knows that you might as well "fall back" on magic pixie dust. I can put food in my backpack and rely on its availability ... I can go days without finding a master entertainer to buff mind pool. You think there will be more entertainers after hologrinding ends?

Wishful thinking ... which isn't particularly helpful to good game design.
