So far, I'm rather impressed, I like the interdependency w/ other professions. I like the fact we have lootable schematics now (I just wish it was new stuff instead of a schematic we used to have) and the food buffs last longer and seem to be cooler. So far, great job devs.

being interdependent with other classes would be fine if it wasnt for the fact that drinks are a royal pain in the ass to make as it is. And they not only added and addtional step but they added a step that requires something we cant make.

I can not believe there is no wedding cake. I'm not too impressed with losing several of my customers' favorite recipes, even if they were silly and for RP. Wedding cake, Double Dip Outer Rim Rumdrop (for all the wannabe space pilots), and Sunburns are the most glaring omissions, and of course Fishak. I will reserve the rest of my judgement for when I see the effects of the rest of the schematics, but from what I am seeing so far, I am left wanting quite a bit more. I think the addition of two components to all drinks and one to all food is a little less than would be desired, I have trouble enough running the 6 factories I have nonstop without having to worry about even more components. And again, where is the wedding cake? I cater a lot of weddings, and this is just pretty insane to have the wedding cake, which didn't even do anything that they would have had to revamp, be removed. I know, it took me 72 actual slices and an hour of time to make one real wedding cake, but still! /rant off.

Unfortunately not on TC(character copy anyone?), but from the preliminary info, this is going to be fun for me. Even more resources to gather, but wow, you do have so many ways that you can craft it now. I can't wait until this hits live, but definitely make sure most of the bugs are out . I have just one question right now.... How much does quantity increase with a barrel? 300 resources AND 2 MA components PER barrel which I take has to be used 1000 per schematic(for a full run). That is going to be some expensivecrates LOL(of course it sounds like quality of material does not currently matter for barrels)

Yeah I'm a little peaved about it also. I thought we wouldn't need equipment factories but apparantly we do. Only master artisans can make control units and we will definetly need equipement factories for it.

I also find it a little strange that they lowered the numerical value of complexity for food, but realistically it looks like they made them even more complicated.

You don't need it though. Alll you need is small glasses, which can be done soley in a food factory. So can large glasses.

Well, sometimes the master chef cannot provide. When you are dealing with supply and demand, there is also the supply part.

You can make large glasses without any components from other profession.

There are now options to make things uber with the addition of kegs and additives...but uber will be rare.
