Hi all, asking this question for a novice chef friend of mine. I know the value of food and stats and she mentioned that there are certain items you guys can't find. Milk? Anyone have any idea where she can get this? I help her in getting her resources so any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Cas

there was once a class calleda Farmer

This class was at the end of surveyer I hear

they were the only class that could operate all the harvesters

they also had a biological animal harvester they could operate that produced milk and eggs but it was buggy and removed .

then the farmer class was removed from the game

they then forgot about the biological harvesters and thus is the game today

thats what I was told by a beta tester who made it to a culinary master ( she got to the end of cooking not master chef )

I am not quite sure what your asking. You asked 3 questions I think.

Yes, I have good resources for cooking.

" like where can fruits/cereal/...... with good stats" is not a question, or a sentence so I am not sure whats going on there.

No, Overall quality is just one of the things to look for. It depends on the item you are crafting, and the resource being used. Wheat for example, I look at OQ, PE and Flavor.

Check www.swgcraft.com, they have a list of resources and you can filter them out to see only your server. Also, you want Overall Quality, Flavor, and Potentila Energy to get the best base stats for your food.

Resources vary (wildly) - from server to server as well as from type to type. They change over time, which means the old (same)hides or what not get new values, a new name, and a new spawning/concentration area. If they come back immediately.

Most berries and wheat I've found seem to be consistently in the high 800s for quality. Hides, bones and organics (meats) vary a great deal more.

So basically you just have to look around, get to know what's available on your server, and hoarde the best if you can.

I've been avoiding the grind, instead sampling with one account while 'burst grinding' in cantinas and passing out treats to patrons.

I try to make decent food, but I have zero experimentation. I find that, particulary with drinks, that using a meat or hide, rather than fruit or other organic, yields a MUCH higher base quality and higher potential for experimentation.

Using meats and hides in foods that just require 'any organic' is a nice way to use up crappy meats or stacks of 15 units. (I had way too many tiny meat stacks in the bank...switching banks was tricky and I had to destroy several 'tiny' stacks of meat, hide and bone)

each planet has different stats for each flora food... you should try to sample em all on each planet to get the best stats, but this is a lot of work, and costs a lot of ingame credits... depends on how dedicated you are to making the best product

Try posting on Gorath if you haven't already.
