I would be very appreciative if a few of you from various servers would take the time to compare my menu to your servers menus and give me a little feedback. Im specifically wondering about the following:
1) How does the quality of my foods compare to your server
2) How does the selection compare to your server
3) How do the prices compare to your server
4) How does the conveniance compare to your server (in stock guarantee and 1m south of coronet which is directly infront of the largest mall on our server with someodd 70+ vendors)
There are about 8 or so foods i can make better then i have on there with resources i have gathered since, but i havnt gotten around to it yet. Thanks for your time.

On the brandy, i'd take 1 point out of strength and put one into duration, it should come out around the same as mine at +427 for 45m 30s. the extra minute is worth more than the extra 3-4 points imo.
Tho the rest is basically the same as mine, varied menu tho, nice one.

All I can say is Damn. How did you find the time/additives/factories to make a run of so many foods?

my next brandy will be better with better resources, and to get to this point i spent several months gathering resources, then i boughtout every BE addative on my server for months.
Anyway, i am one of the 3 big chefs on my server. Between us im relatively sure we supply about 85% of all food that is sold on our server, therefor we pretty much sum up the food industry on naritus. I was trying to guage the naritus food industry between other servers with this thread. Anyone want to offer any more info from their servers or the big chefs on their servers for comparison?

That is exactly the type of info i wanted, thank you very much.
Hopefully i can get that for a few other servers as well.
One question though, what is your gross sales average per day? Not profit, but just total sales?

Sales are ussual 10-30 singles, depending on what I have stocked that week.
Crates are ussual 5-20 crates a day, depending on what I stock (had 30 sales one day when I stocked 75k a crate ahrisa), but days like Mondays (typically slow days) I may only get like 3 crate sales.

Well Chef foods are pretty well spread out on my server. Specifically there are alot of 10pt Chefs that are doing quite nicely. Including me. I was able to break into the Chef industry to about a 2mil a day profit as a 10pt chef in about a week. Although my location was absolutely Prime, it just shows you that people arn't "attached" to the big chefs on my server. We have a total of about 4 12pters that are really well off but they don't have very good location or marketing (I think) so they don't get as much bussiness as they could, which lets alot of other Chefs onto the scene and makes it easy break in. In addition to that the demand for "other" foods on Starsider is almost minimal, which allows us to charge nice prices for it and never have to stock, hehe. As for the rest, there's a huge demand for Brandy/Canape/Ahrisa/Bivoli, everything is considered secondary. I personally also stock ithorian mist, port, cake, havla, and veghash. But those are all very secondary sales compared to the big 4. Especially bivoli because I'm also a DE (Medical Droids) and am in a mall that's big on Bio (doc) clothing. The prices on my server are much higher in general (the lower costing foods cost more) but also the higher costing foods cost less. The highest I've ever charged or would charge is probably 250k for really good brandy or maaaaybe 300k for 25/3 bivoli. But most of my prices as a 10pt chef are in the 100k-200k range per crate.
Demand in general isn't that much because I can do 1/4 stocks once a week for each food and still be pretty good, and I'm in the #2 biggest mall on the server, as close to CNet as humanely possible. Although once again my stuff is only 10pt and I havn't really had a big restock to allow alot of customers (lack of money to get full runs of additives), but I'd say I've been doing pretty well.
Quality you're stuff is absolutely the best, if you can keep a decent stock of everything you have listed, on our server you would be a God =). The only thing I've managed up to your standard is 33 Veghash, which hasn't been selling that great but does attract a nice ammount of attention.
Selection is also Godly, don't think any Chef on our server stocks that much, that varried, and at that quality.
Note, Starsider economy is decently easy to break into which makes it much easier for starting chefs to get into the bussiness (or me who was just thrown into the second biggest mall on the server and told to stock as soon as I got master). Which means that most people don't have a "preparation" period as I see you have. Which doesn't allow a cool calm buildup of that kindof menu. It ends up being a rush to re-stock what you're lacking on and every once in a while allows you to stock something you don't have, but that once again adds to your workload. In addition to that additives on our server are massively expensive. You absolutely have to make the additives yourself (get resources yourself and have a BE make the schem) otherwise you will not be able to keep in stock, that simple. And because of a 960 rated flora that came out, you can't make additives other than with that flora, because they won't be up to par, and 90 flora at 20 cpu per additives (times 1000 for a full run) is painful to say the least. This is already not including the 20 meat at 30 cpu...Anyways, it makes things much messier and much harder to have such a large menu (although people who have become stable and done huge restocks have probably managed it for some period of time).
Wow...ranting..hehe...hope this helps...

Well on our server there are 3 or 4 main chefs, our set up and another chef's being the biggest with the other 2 taking the rest it seems. As for the quality, only we and the other chef (her name is Armon for the record, very good chef) can match or beat your stats. As for the selection, well we currently have over 400 items stocked, ranging for Brandy to vegephrasine (i hate spelling and making that food
). We try to have the essentials in first always, then when we have the time stock up more of the more diverse foods.
The ecomonmy on Farstar is not too bad, but we charge alot more for our chef foods, in the early days chefs were scarce, so prices have rose above what seems average. On the sale front, we sell sbout 20-30 crates a day, we never seem to rise much above it, unless we put a new food out for sale, sometimes word gets round, when we put our first run for +427 for 45m 30s it all sold out in 1 day, 80 crates of it.
. Which while nice, gave us a huge headache to get restocked
Can't think of much else to say. if there's anything specific let me know.

That is very informative, thank you very much!
What would you say your average prices are, and what is your location like?
