Hehe I hear you, when I get someone following me to a factory for brandy I jsut go do a harvester run, usually loses them pretty quick. As far as the new foods go, I basically took everyone who signed up for my mailing list, made each of them a sample of basically every food, told them to go out and let me know what they would buy. I've been running 4 factories of a whole ton of stuff (synthsteak, KCP, thaktillo, won won, canape, brandy, bivoli, caveillin creams, and bespin port to name a few) and haven't been able to keep anything in stock for more then a day.

I understand your pain. As a BE, when the BE exploit/bug that allowed us to make cl10 creatures with high resists, I finally turned off my title. I got email saying "Can you make me one of these", I'd reply "Those are bugged and making them is an exploit", they'd respond "Yeah, so can you make me one?"

The truth, however, is that combat is all about the mind bar. Few big time combatants go out without their health and action bars buffed but there are few opportunities to get the same thing from entertainers, therefore how long they can fight without resting is purely determined by whether they can get the stuff they need to buff their mind bars. Holo said months ago that they never intended for combat to be reduced to the mind bar and they gave CMs the ability to heal it in response to the problem, but the fact is they should have given that to entertainers in general and there aren't enough CMs around to support all the big game hunters.

SO, your only hope is to push a variety of foods on your customers when they show up to buy Brandy. There is nothing that a combatant will want to drink but Brandy, but once they realize they can complement it with a good defensive food then maybe they will expand their buying.

More so is that the CM Mind healing causes huge Mind wounds so it is impractical and even with entertainer buffs those only last an hour (plus they take 10 minutes to get for each one) but master doctor level buffs are over 2 hours (can be over 3 hours 20 minutes even). So it comes down to doing whatever it takes to be able withstand 1000+ hits to the mind bar (particularly since there STILL is an armor hole).

Trust me, I'd LOVE to pick up some Accarragm and Garrmorl, but no one on Bria wants to make it, apparently.

If you remember from back in August/September last year. THE hot item was Tatooine sunburn. Noone really looked at fishak (Or whatever it was called, I forget now that it's not on the 1st page 6 times).

Combatants will look for alternatives. Especially after the combat revamp, when the mind buff won't mean as much (hopefully)

See I actually haven't even considered making those. Maybe I'm just too used to getting doc buffs that a 400ish buff to action or health stats seems kind of worthless.

Now a question for you. Would you actually pay the same price for those as the mind food(mine are 50-55k, 200-210/43-46 minutes/6-7 charges). Honestly I was planning on selling it a lot cheaper, but I can't keep it on the shelf and people still come to me saying how cheap it is. I'd rather have it on the vendor than some wholesaler come and buys it all and sells it outside the starport. So give me a price of what you would pay for the same thing with health and action stats(I'm assuming they take about the same ingrediance, in all honesty I actually haven't looked at the schematics yet).

Iam not complaining. I use large glasses and no be additives. Iam not swamped... but do make a decent profit. I made 300k yesterday alone.

Yes people will start looking at other foods. Word has gotten out that there is a very good mind drink. People are buying stat buffs(I have sold very few). It will just take a little time for the general public to get to know the uses of them.

At the moment I'm trying to figure out a price at which people would be interested in Vegash. My stats are +15.75 harvesting, 10 minutes, 5-7 charges(sorry can't remember). The filling is low enough that you can take them all the time.

The trouble is figureing out what that +15.75 actually does for each person. It is almost giving Novice Ranger to a hunting 4 scout. Actually my best idea so far was to give it away to people that bring me a 5k+ stack of meat.

Current price is 25k btw, not sure how that compares because I actually haven't seen anyone else stock it.

Gee, I'm selling much more than just Brandy. Vagnerian Canape is also very popular, as is my remaining stock of Fishak. :-)
I only have 2 factories going, so I haven't made too many other things, just some singles to pass out as samples really. I'll just crank out the Brandy for the riflemen and docs until the carbineers find out about Acarragm. ::shrug::

Funny you should mention that. Im still selling a ton of fishak. So far Ive sold less than a complete run of everything Ive stocked except brandy which I may have nightmares about how many runs Ive made of. Numen Ive been selling veghash at 20k so thats pretty close. And I have stocked Accarragm. Sold 2 crates of it and maye 3-4 singles. So far Ive stocked veghash, canapes, thakitilo, teltier noodles (havent sold but 1 crate), synthsteak, spiced tea (did sell a full run of this gee low level artisan food ), Burnout sauce, Ormachek, Kiwik, ithorian mist, flameout, pica, pyollian, dustcrepes, crispics, citros cake, caf, bofas, blood chowder. The pica I made (not a full run)sold out very fast but neutronium steel is very rare in my galaxy Ive only enough to make 2-3 more crates so Im holding that back for orders. The thakitillo has sold about half the run. The ormachek sold about 1/4 run. Canapes about a half run.

Another thing I wanted to point out...I think there is a flaw in the overall design of the stat menu.

If you look at the stats by color group. Youll see each color has a drink that hits all 3 stats. A short duration food that hits both subs. Then a long duration food for each of the subs separatley. Except for the blue buffs. The willpower buff is a drink instead of a food. Maybe it was meant to be that way but it doesnt look like it to me judging from the Red and Green buffs.

Also the milk products Ive sold have been all to order. Havent had time to go milking and most folks are bringing less than 1k milk to me so I havent had enough build up yet to be able to actually drop stuff on the vendor but just take care of orders.

Oh and Id really like to get some of everything stocked but between my BE using my factories and my factories having to pump out a trillion components for the trillion brandy runs, thats all Ive managed to get up.

being a former master dancer and hopefully soon to be master chef. When Imake masterI plan on taking the entertainer foods into theed and spreading a few crates of the stuff around to the dancers and musicians..... then putting some for sale in the bazaar... and putting crates on my vendor..... the goal is to crate a need for the food....

that might be a good idea for other folks

go to dath and put the mask scent, terain nav, and harvesting foods onto the vendors there..... and then pass out a few...

these guys are used to the old stuff... they are in a rut... give a bit away show them how awesome it is and you will have them hooked for life....

I'm just a novice chef who can't make it yet but I tell you I'm already getting requests for smugglers delight.
