Is it just me or is it a lot harder to get Amazings ever since they started the newCrafting Buff?

I make 8-10 schematics a Day that I have to experiment on. Before the Crafting Buffs it would only take me about 10-20 trys to get a schematic I was happy with. Now that this crafting buff has come along it has been taking me 2 sometimes 3 crates (50+ trys) to get a schematic that I can use.This is extremely frustrating and I don't think I can go on crafting like this.

I have 40 factory's that I keep running full time, 30 of them for Additives and Components and 10 of them for the Final Food or Drink. Keeping thees factory's running and takes 4+ hrs a day and making the schematics is a big part of that time and now that its taking 2x longer to geta schematic that is worth using I don't think I can keep it up.

Thees new Buffs where supposed to be such a great thing for the crafterbut it seems to me they have only caused more grief for the crafter. The Bonus they give is a JOKE and hardly even makes a difference in the Final product for food and it takes twice as long to get amazings which helps more than the insignificant 2% resource bonus the worthless buff gives

I just don't know what to do, I have always loved chef and have always been one that trys to embrace change and just go w/ the flow but I don't know if I can stay a crafter if it takes going thru 3 crates just to get a schematic I'm happy with /sigh

I made some BoH last weekend while buffed and just could not get 2 amazings (I am not a 1 point at a time experimentor) and settled for an amazing on potency (so the stuff i made has higher fill than I would like). That wasnt 2 or 3 attempts or anything, I settled for making the schematic on the last tissue in the crate (25th attempt and 6 crates of alcohol).

Made some last night - unbuffed - and got 2 amazings on my second attempt. Using the exact same resources and tissues the stuff I made unbuffed is better than the stuff I made buffed.

Now I dont know that this isnt just a coincidence but I dont think I will be too pushed about scouring the Galaxy for an atk ent that isnt in Mos Lagley cantina.

Its my understanding that amazings do nothing for chefs during assembly only during experimentation. Is this still the case? As for amazing experiments I seemto be having about the same, maybe even a smidge more.

I've always gotten fewer amazing on experimentation with a buff. I got top notch crafting station, research center, FS exp bonus, 12 pts. I'm guessing the entertainer bonus interfers with something or replaces something, causing the exp bonus to drop for me, while other with less mods may actually get a boost. Either way it is bugged.

Since I don't take exact notes down per XP attempt, I do have to say that I enjoy an increase in Amazing Successes post-Ins patch. At most it takes me 10 tries to get a double amazing (Sometimes three, depending on the food/drink), which is a godsend.

On the other hand...I am getting horrible Amazing's on my 14 Point Human Artisan. I've had multiple occasions of having to XP 50+ times before getting double amazing. It is maddening

Oh and to answer any questions, I am crafting with the relative crafting buff, research center city, 45 FR Crafting Station, and a FR 15 Crafting Tool.

I seem to noticed that the previous buffs gave me more amazings then the current ones.. I have recently been getting really frustrated with the lack of amazings I've been getting to be honest. Maybe its just a run of bad luck.

I have only tired crafting once since the new buffs went in.. made some spiced tea.. came out slightly better (same resources and such) than without the buffs..planning on trying again tomorrow.. will post what i get.

I'm getting way more.

Thats not me being a "fan boi" or just saying because i'm a corre, i'm genuinely getting more amazings these days. After getting the chef buff i normally get a first un Bespin Ported Amazing within 3 goes, then get the all amazing with bespin port on the 3rd or second go.

Last night i made 4 schems, 1 ahrisa, 1 pikatta pie, and 2 Vas Brandy, and the most experimentations it took to get all amazings was 7 goes.

Thats a major improvment, for me at least.

Truthfully, at this point, whether I get amazings or not seems not to have any difference in the number of experimental points I use. Till coming out the same product whether I have all amazings or none.

I am getting more critical fails now, and for a 12 point chef, that is pretty bad.

Darn it!! Why do you always restock your vendors the same week I do?

I gotta start timing this better.

I wonder how many people drive straight past your vendor thinking "Nah I wont stop here to buy food, I'll drive the extra 2.5km to Hywive's vendor".

I could safely bet that it's not many

Hehe those foods aren't vendor bound, i got a big personal order so i've been working on that for now. Though some of surplus will be going up.
