In an effort to drive me totally insane, i'm looking to create food and drink combos suited for certain purposes. I'm already very busy, but it has made me fairly rich and I am going to experiment on various effects and buff combos. On the plate for tomorrow is a buff combo to fight the downer on muon gold. I'll try and find a combo to last the 240 second downer, and counteract the -500 on all mind stats. Any ideas you guys have will be helpful, but either way I'll post what I find. For the record, i'll be using all top quality resources, with over 950 in the appropriate areas for the recipes i'll be trying.

Long shot that you haven't... but you've done the Ice Blaster/Glazed Glucose Pate combo right? The medics in my guild are going nuts over this - apparently none of them have had proper chef treatment before =)

So close to master, lol. I can taste it... but I still don't have a fully comprehensive grasp on everything I can make. I'll be interested to see what you come up with.

Yep, Aseu is absolutly right. IceBlaster/Glazed Glucose Pate combo. I've even do field tests with some PA members. Both buffed from the same doctor, one takes muon and one eats my 520mind/Focus 480second Glucose Pate. At some point in the fight the muon taker started puking and it was all over. Heh, that scene made me so happy. The only bad thing is that spicehead that lost still swears by his spice stating that food needs to last an hour before he'd ever buy it.

Thats dump why would he say that it needed to last an hour. When his spice lasts 6 minutes.

Its not that he's dumb...it's that he won't admit his choice wasn't the best. That seems to be a recurring theme with many of my customers who are now buying food in droves. It seems quite a few bought into spice because they thought food wasn't worth the effort or the money.

Many did not realize that chef items were not just alternatives to spice, but superior in many regards (price per use, buff, convenience of carrying more than 25 uses in a crate, etc) ANDno downer. I still carry a crate ofmuon gold with mefor those emergencies when Ineed to refresh the mind during a fight and I am full.

IB/GGP is a good combo...your only gateway will be the meat. I've been experimenting with some other combos and found that Vercupti with Fishak is pretty good...you don't get the focus boost...but both have a good duration 10+ minutes and decent buffage.

How bout this, just as an idea:

Fishaks for the drink, Fried Icecream for the food. I got my icecream to +465 focus for just over 500 seconds. Those two would bea pretty hefty boost to Mind and Focus. I was also thinking perhaps taking two bites of some high end exo protein wafers, since there is enough room for 2 bites after eating the ice cream. That sould give willpower a 220 boost for about 240 seconds. That should be a good rival to the muon gold downer, if not a good replacement for it.

Any input, like always is appreciated, and if you fine folks wish, I am willing to keep track of all these combos that I stumble upon, as well as those you guys post. So we have an unofficial "chef meal" guide for those looking for ideas, or to try something outside of the sunburn crate thing.

On a side note, it IS sad that they will not buy into superiour product because they are addicted to spice. Hopefully one day we'll have a good name across EVERY server and not just the "well informed buyer" servers.

What other combos are there? Something to combat Neutron Pixie is DEFINITELY in order. I hate watching my friends' health pools drop to 0 in the middle of a fight, it's just not a good omen.

I find that BOH/Ryshcate is the best combo for a melee class..

Simply put, my TKA can spam /unarmedhit3 with vibros for quite a long time while before my mind becomes affected...

of course, you gotta have the good stuff, bout 1K to str/quick/focus in the combo =)

yea popular combos I sell are BoH/Rsychate, sunburn/Ryschate, BoH/Vercupti, Fish/Vercupti, BoH/GGP, Fish/GGP. Ok that was probably tmi but...hehe people always want different things.

For myself, as a crafter, strong in mind but lacking ingreen barand especially hlth/str/con - I personally use Thaktillo/Sunburn. Those together totally stabilize the red bar, and the sunburn keeps the green bar regen rate very high. Of course, the mind foods are what most fighters (i.e. customers) are looking for. So, I sell Fishak / Ice Cream, etc.
