I've barely logged into the game for the last 4 weeks, and after checking out the revamp, I decided cheffing wasn't for me anymore. I guess I got used to the "old" style of food creation, and am too hide-bound to change my play style. It doesn't help that the resident guild BE has also retired, leaving me no reliable source of the additives required now for quality food (not that he could have supplied what I needed anyways).

Unfortunately chef had been the only thing that had really kept my interest in the game for some time now (almost 5 months as a master chef). I guess I kept waiting for the "Star" part of Star Wars to appear, and we'll have to wait for the Space expansion for that. So until then, I'll be shutting down my accounts.

I want to thank the chef community as a whole for keeping me entertained all this time, and Nikki, SciGuy,and most importantly, SirVimes, for being such great chef advocates to the community.

I'll be back in a few months to check out the expansion, and until then, /salute

Did anyone alse like it when it was actually cool to be a chef because there were hardly any of us out there? Now it has become the fotm. I almost wish they didnt redo us.

I like the revamp. I was against it until I started to make some foods. But yes, it was pretty cool for when there were only a few chefs. I think there were probably 5 on my server for a while. Although, I would always be asked "Hey, you got some spice?" I took a LOA from the game though when they took ages to fix the food stack bug and then the downer bug. I came back because I was looking for something to do and started to have fun with chef again.

LMAO, You folks are hilarious. I made a simple postfor a person who has to come tell other folks that he is taking ANOTHER leave of absence because he does not like the "star" wars part of this game. Fine..good bye. Its your money that is being spent, not mine.

As for the other folks who flamed me for making a true statement. First off, act your age...er i guess you were. i have been a chef from 2 months PRIOR to the patch so im not another ftom chaser as i was declared. As for making money, my architect business makes me plenty on top of what i was making from chef.

Making room for other chefs, think about it folks, the limit of chefs on one server is limited only to the number of players who wish to be chef!! As for the stupid people comment please proof read your post or at least have a friend who is smarter then you proof them.

When several ofindividuals feel you are capable of having an intelligent post i will greatfully hold discussions with you. The remaining amount of folks who posted with out flaming thanks. That would be the kind of forum i would post to regularly.
