Thread: Is 1k vercupti (50 or below fillign) and 50 fill 410+ Brandy (45 min) craftable by non-12 points?

Just wondering if i can make 1k vercupti with 7+ Minutes and 50 or below fillingwithout being a 12 point chef. As well as 410+ Brandy without being a 12 ptchef. Thanks for the help and i already read the FAQ and found no answers so plz dont flame.

if you have the resources that i have, and the patience to wait for amazings, then yes you could make +911 vercupti at 50 filling. the difference would be you'd have 2 less points to put into duration than i did. but i'm sure i only spent 9 or 10 in filling. that's with an amazing tho, so that i'd have an extra to put into duration.
i'm combining old tubers with recent but not current oil, and insect meat from the last endor spawn. that's part of it, the 12-pointers usually have more old resources to try to mix and match with the current ones, than new chefs do.

When I was an 11 point chef I could make +1007 Double Fill Vercupti, and +404 45 min brandy, but it wasn't that easy.
1 point pushed my vercupti to +1069, and my brandy to +420ish AND added 3 uses to the brandy.

I have only made one run of vercupti and can't remember the stats of it but I can honestly say that a non-12 point chef can make brandy at +410 or better. I got lucky and got very good resources given to me and can consistantly make +419 brandy while in the research city I reside in. (Have yet to try making it elsewhere)

depends on your resources. i do have 12 points. the vercupti i'm selling now is strength 911, 8 m 22 seconds or so, and 50 filling. i had to max out the filling to get it to 50, but i did then have at least 2 points left over to put into duration. so, a 10 pointer could do it with the things i have, but getting the tubers, meat, and oil with stellar DR and high OQ is a serious pain. the insect meat i ended up using has flavor of a whopping 11, and no that's not a typo.
talk to your customers, find out what they want. the ones iasked all wanted what i also agree is best...don't spend points on strength, i just letthe BE tissue do that for me. any spare points, i threw into duration. oh, but one batch a while back with other meat i got quantity of only 1 at 50 filling, so there i did throw a point to quantity also, to get 2 in a stack.
it may not be as important to get the strength above 1k as you think it is.

I know you can do 410 brandy with 10 points, although it'd be tough to also get the duration above 40m. Checking the theoritic max (1000 stat resources for everything), and an 88 BSN, you would need to spend 7 points to hit +410 with the brandy, and 3 points would get the duration up to 45m18s. That's assuming only great successes. Since I doubt we'll ever see 1000 PE/OQ/FL berries and fruit, it looks like you'll need either more points or to try for an amazing success spending 6-7 points.
The vercupti is probablyeven harder. I did some number crunching assuming I had the best spawns of tubers, lube oil, and insect meat that swgcraft has in its database on my server (note to self: pick up current spawn of yavin insect), and hitting 50 filling looks like it would take roughly 8 or 9 points (assuming I didn't get an amazing success), which would put the buff size in the low- or mid-900s with a 115 additive. Even with perfect resources, you end up being short a point trying to hit 50 filling and 1000+ buff.

hmmm id say teh 2 dose vercupti at a decent buff and time takes 12 points,ive made 1072 50 fil and it wasnt till i got 12 i could get it there

You need to get Filling to 89% for 50 filling. 7 exp points with greats would be 63%. So if you start with 26% you can reach it with 7 exp points.
The buff is going to completely depend on your resources. You need nice DR/OQ for the filling. If the PE is horrible, your buff is just going to max very low. With 900+ all stat resources I think 900+ 50 filling vercupti is possible. I'm at just about 1020 50 filling with 12 points, so certainly 900+ is possible with 10 points.
I would agree with the others on the brandy. It might be possible with near perfect resources, but highly doubtful. 11 points would come a lot closer and then it would more depend on the resources.

The others have already answered your questions but I thought I'd chime in with my mantra about how the game is more fun if you're not a slave to the numbers. Don't worry too much if you can't afford 12pts or you can't make 1k 50 filling Vercupti. Believe me, high filling Vercuptisells extremely well, well enough that I only make the 50 filling kind for long time customers who specifically request it. We Chefs tend to work ourselves into a frenzy trying to hit these self-imposed targets that we see on the boards.
I spent tens of millions of credits to get 12 pts, just to satisfy my own ego, but my sales have pretty much stayed the same. From a business perspective, it's much more important to keep a well stocked vendor with a wide variety of foods than anything else. If you stock it, they will come!

I just bought 5 +1 EXP points
I'm happy with my 11 Point chef and i can make +411 brandy for 46 Mins
Also can make +967 50 Fill Vercuppti, with not so great resources, i did have to max out filling
So, i think that with 11 poitns you can still be competitive with these stats

I am a 11 pt Chef and that stuff is easily obtainable. My current Vercupti is 995/50/7m 32s thats with 115 nutrients and my current brandy is 408/46:30/50 with 84 nutrients. So with better nutrients I could have reached your marks,I just harvest the current dath carn meat to make mynutrients and as long as its close to 1800 I stock up on it.
