Are there any Flurrian Chefs here that happen to have a list of their prices? I was curious so I don't end up undercharging or overcharging... There aren't enough of us around so I think keeping the business somewhat equal can give others the opportunity to still remain productive. Thank you.

I don't have a complete list of prices for you but some of mybigger sellers:

Sunburns :250/dose when in crates = ~44k a crate. 300/dose in single stacks

Durindfire: 40/dose in crates = ~10k a crate

Veghash 40/dose in crates = ~ 4k a crate.

Might be raising these prices soon, as I have a hard time keeping my vendor stocked. My prices used to be higher, but mission nerfs have dried the money supply a bit I think. (That and bugged stacks maybe, although no one has had a problem with any of my stacks).

personaly I was selling at about 6 credits a resources used but I raised my prices to 8 credits a resource .. I would say here is the "Fair Price" range on most servers

Sunburns - per crate

low [15,000 - 30,000] high

Rythcates -per crate

low [12,000 -28,000] high

Breath of Heaven - percrate

lowlow [20,000 -40,000] high

Well of course there are alot more icould type out but here is aeasy way to do it.

Charge 8 credits or 10 credits per resource then see how it sells. Best advertisement is using yourservers msg board. then if it sells really fast you can either remain the same or raise the price.

Best way to raise prices isslow over time so its hardly noticed by you regulars

I would rather make stacks of 7 sunburns that buff +1800 then a stack of 9 that buffs 1550.. But I want charge more money for the 9 that buff 1550 because it has more charges.

I understand you're saying that a Chef who sells food based on the number of charges will be inclined to use experimentation points to raise the quantity of each stack at the expense of raising the buff or duration.

My response to that - I hear your concern and it is valid, but that doesn't lessen the idea that a per charge price makes a lot of sense from a buyer's perspective.

I price based on the number of charges, but I set minimums for myself on the duration and buff. Once I reach those, I vary the sell price depending on the stack size. If I make some food that are below what I consider a quality food, then I lower the price on it. Yes, this takes more time when I post things on a vendor/bazaar.

Here are the prices Krothos and I charge. Both of us normally can't keep up with demand and if we do have an odd night off its nice to go out and actually shoot something for a change hehe.

If any chef on flurry wants to chat in game or a sample menu I dont mind forwarding them my menus. Krothos and I have been sharing points of view including pricing and resourcing popping.

These are my prices and I know Krothos's prices are almost identical:

Tat Sun crate: - +1830 - 175 uses- 40K

Fishak crate:+4-500 - 225-250 uses - 80K

BoH crate: +390 - 375 uses - 60K

Ryshcate crate: +250 - 375 use - 50K

Veghash crate: +120 - 175 use - 30K

i havent lisetdd them all and i know krothos's products are somewhat diff from a buff perspective but crate prices are about the same.

I charge by both buff size and buff quality. If I sacrifice buff quality for charges (which I only really do for pet food), I charge less per serving. In general, if you sell bad food in large amounts at a higher price than good food in smaller amounts, a knowledgable customer is going to notice this and not buy your food. That doesn't mean factoring # charges into your pricing is a bad idea, as higher quality ingredients will get you more base charges and you can often experiment a point or two on charges after maxing nutritional value.

Just for the record, I charge by thedose, but I max the first two bars on my experimentation before I go on to the quantity bar. Like many chefs, I take pride in using quality ingredients and having less filling, long lasting, high buffing food. The disadvantage of how short our foods last, and that they are filling is bad enough without specifically shortchanging those attributes during experimentation.

Chaenlmee, I will use your(and Krothos)prices as a guideline. I do not want to undercut other chefs on my server, as that is not my pricing strategy; I just started making Veghash and don't really know what a marketable price is. I started at 40/dose because I don't advertise much and most of my customers are PA friends. I will be upping my Veghash prices after the current crates sell out. I would like to see cooperation between all the Flurry chefs - I was helped out with training on the way up, and am willing to train any aspiring Chefs for free and give them advice as I learn more, etc. Flurry chefs, lets add each other as friends and give each other heads-up on high quality ingredients. Ther is OQ 994 Eki water on Corellia right now in high concentrations SW of Tyrena.

What planets do you two hang out on? Do you know Xun or Kaet? We should all get together and talk about prices and experimentation.
