Thread: Can it be true? Are HAM Buffs stacking now???

When I tried this a few days ago, taking a food/drink with the same stat buff would overwrite the previous buff icon. Well I was just able to eat Vercupti, Ahrisa and then drink Brandy and Accarragm all at once! All 4 icons show up on my buff bar. I didn't see anything mentioned about a fix, but if this is working as intended, and they do indeed stack, this is GREAT news for chefs. You can't stack the same food or drink 2x but that's fine, there's plenty to choose from to mix and match now, and just means more products for us to sell. I sure hope this isn't a fluke... has anyone else tested this out lately?

I haven't tested, but you certainly gave me a reason to log in tonight! 
I'll try out some combos, see what comes up.
Personally, I think that not being able to stack the same food is a workable situation. If nothing else, it'll save us from the same old "Brandy, Ahrisa, Bivoli" manufacturing from before CU. Of course, that may mean more work to keep a well stocked vendor...
As a word of warning, though, it is possible that this may lead to reduction in food power if the numbers they had before were balanced for single-buffs.
Ok, got logged in before submitting. Yep, looks like you can eat multiple doses and all the foods show up on the buff bar. I ate two +Health foods (Kanali wafers and Vercupti), and the numbers went up properly.

Just tested this myself (logged on the forums because i couldn't sleep, and i end up ingame 
)
And Accargm, bradny, canape and ahrisa all stacked at the same time. Nice to have the fix, but would of been nice if they'd of said something.

Nice! Any restriction on stacking?
If stacking is intended and with same stats as now it will make food a lot better than doctor buffs. Might get hit by the nerf bat I am afraid.

I haven't had a chance to check for myself, so don't beat me for asking, but can you double stack accarragm or quadruple stack blob candy; or is that only working for foods/drinks that are different from each other, but buff the same stats? (Did that make any sense? It's 4am and my brain is...Zzzzzzzz)

The first poster says no you can't stack 2 of the same. I haven't tried for myself either though.

I just tested brandy and blob candy, and they both stack when they previously did not.
Sounds like a great change, finally I can eat the foods I want without worrying about retarded crap.

Yup.
Its the same as the Stat buff are, no double stacking.
It actually gives us alot more variety now, and alot more stomach for customers to play with.

When the high-power-short-duration buff drops, does it wipe the long-duration one as well? I remember reading about some buffs "over-writing" others when they didn't stack.
