Getting novice medic is a beter way to spend your points. Stims are more effective then any food buff.

Hey Reblsoldier. I'm sick and tired of your stupid posts. Get off the freaking forums. You're so **edit** annoying. Anyone else with me? All I ever hear from you is how bad you hate being a Chef. Well... go be a Novice Medic and get the hell out of our forums and stop wasting our time. WHINE WHINE WHINE WHINE. You cry-baby.

Chef is definitely worth getting. It's a long hard grind. But worth it... The profession, like MOST professions needs a lot of work. I love being a Chef... the inedible food item bug has been eating away at my business, but the fix should be coming soon. But I make a heck of a lot of cash doing what I'm doing. Have nearly 5 million credits lol. and no idea of what to do with them.

I would say it's worth getting, but that was just me. Being a chef has been a lot of fun for me so far, although it can getfrustrating at times. Maybe if you're not sure if you want to go all the way with chef, you could just go up the drink and cooking line and be a finebartender.

To me it's a toss up, right now chefs are still getting screwed more and more as patches come in. There's still a good chunk of the schematics that are usless because of the lack of milk in the game and components that require milk.

But on the other end, people do enjoy seeing a chef around and they do look for the better buffs that we can make, and belive me, they buy a lot of it.

if you want to try role playing a chef, have some nice food available for your guild, or if you like crafting in generalout then by all means, be a chef. youll need a big bank roll to fund this.

if you expect to make money while lvling chef or expect to see demand for food then i wouldnt suggest it.

I would wait a couple months to see if they delete us, phase us out, continue to ignore us, or an unlikely chance they may actually improve us. and then make your decision.

Seriously Thymaster, to recommend this class to anyone right now is just like saying that having a minumum wage full time job is worth it when you can easily get something better.

Rebel is right, this class sucks right now, and its why I canceled my account.

Maybe you're right, I probably am just too stubborn to think I wasted all those hours grinding out a class that is worhtless. ROFL. What I do know, is that I make a heck of a lot of money. Is it as much as a weaponsmith? By no means. As much as an armorsmith? Yeah. Way more than a Droid Engineer. Way more than an Architect. Way more than a Tailor.

I personally think most of you have spent so much time complaining about yourselves, and haven't realized that almost every profession has it's problems. I will list these as best I can.

(Armorsmith) Do any of you Chef's get out and fight? I am nearly a Master Gunfighter also... and I hate armor. Despise it. I like shield generators.. but armor doesn't allow me to do specials at all. With food... it's true, I can manage, and I have plenty of it considering I'm Master Chef.

(Droid Engineers) All of you have absolutely no right to complain, that's for sure. These guys might make me a Food crafting station droid for like 7K, and that's the end of that. That is pocket change. Even their combat droids are worthless.

(Tailors) Man.. the more I think about this. The more I think that all of you really haven't thought about other professions. These guys have it the worst imo. Clothes NEVER DECAY. Food gets eaten, and if they like it, they come back. Once a Tailor makes you a shirt. You never see them again.

(Architects) Yeah.. they make a good amount of cash, not really. They make roughly 3cr. per resource. The stuff I make is usually like 10-20cr. per resource. probably more. I don't charge that way anyway. Plus, once you get a house or a harvester or what not. You don't need another one. Demand for these items will continue to drop until there is none.

Maybe I'll get flamed for this, I don't really care. The only reason I come to these forums is to try and defend this profession from all the people who waste their time complaining non-stop. FRANKLY, none of you really see the money-making possibiliites we have. Maybe it's just on my server, I don't know. But the fact is... a Bounty Hunter who makes 15K per Mission (numbers are not accurate, just a guess) NEEDS buffs. Not only that, WHERE DO YOU THINK HE WILL SPEND HIS 15K he just made? Buy a new weapon? probably not. Armor? no. Housing? perhaps.. but only once. maybe furniture. Clothes? yeah.. he wants to look cool, but again, only once. Droids? you have to be kidding.

HE WILL SPEND HIS MONEY ON BUFFS. Maybe this is only on my server, but there is demand for food. What else do people spend their money on? Our customer base should be endless. I have regulars that purchase from me all the time. I honestly make much more money than I can use. so WHAT ARE YOU ALL COMPLAINING ABOUT? If you think the class is so useless, why is my food selling? Am I selling as much as I can? By no means.

Now I am just ranting on and on, and no one has probably read this. Eventually my voice will be heard. rofl. Do I get annoyed when Doctor's buffs are insanely better than mine? yes, I do. Do I get annoyed with Smuggler's spice? No way, spice sucks. Do I get annoyed that I can't make half of the items I should be making with milk? Yes, very much so. I haven't even played since the food stacks got bugged, I can't stand it.

But to SFSITH, if you read this. You said I was basically recommending a "minimum wage full time job" when you can easily get something better. Do you honestly have trouble paying harvester bills, and buying whatever you possibly want? If so.. then you just grinded to MAster Chef without letting anyone know what you can make, and they are all buying food from someone else. Because my stuff sells, and I honestly don't see where all the complaints are coming from. If someone knows, please enlighten me.

Oh .. and every 3 days there is a mail "xyz buyd PET MELONS for 5K" from ....

And you think .. Coool, then my maintenance on house vendors factories etc is only 10K behind for today.

Yeah thats fun.

Its fun to go in cantina, put that cool Bartender out... "HEY YO GOT JAWA BEER ?" "JAWA BEER IS SOOOO COOOOL" "IM A REALLY BIG BOUNTYHUNTER AND I LIKE TO DRIN K A JAVA BEER AFTER I ROXXORED THE (insert random enemy of the day)"

"NO SUNBURNS FOR FREE ?"

"HEY WHAT CAN YOU BUFF ? HOW GOOD, HOW EXPENSICE ?" (tells introduction of chef class in 20 sentences) "OH WELL OK, I MUST SEARCH A DOCTOR NOW. SEE YOU!" ...

And i dont call it fun with the actual system to play the barkeeper.

When someone wants something, youll have mostly to click it on the fly, coz no one wants "Ryshcate", they want "schocolade munchies"... then wait until it comes out of the hopper... oh, hes allready gone. Oh there he is, behind the dancing crowd *aim* *start trade* *too far away* /send xyz could you come a bit closer ? ...*wait* *resend* ...*give up* ...oh there he is *start trade* *lag the item in the trade window* *pooof* ok, again *start trade* ... and so on
