hi, I'm 0403 chef now (need to get back to grinding... >_<) I have 327k GOOD berries stashed away for when I master. When I start making brandy, because of the 2 identical alcohol needed can I only make 499 units of brandy? seeing that a full run of alcohol would be 999...?

Yes, the maximum run of brandy you can make is 499 units. You cannot make a 2000 run of alcohol unfortunately

And even if we could makelarger quantitiesof alcohol, we'd still be limited to trim in runs of 40, which becomes 20 casks which caps a run at 20 crates of brandyanyway.
BTW, welcome to being a chef, hope it treats you well.

I'm hopin it treats me well too. I'm probablygoing to have 11 point when I master, I got a +4 lined up from a guildey, and a +5 apron wont be hard to find. all I gotta do is scrounge up +1 or more to get the 11.

not true. casks do not need to be factory identical, which comes in very very handy!

does the sweet moonshine (alcohol)need to be factory identical? I reckon it does.... but please correct me if I be wrong.

Yes it does, you gotta put the alcohol in the factory, whip up a few crates and then those identical items in the crates are used as the ingredients in the brandy

One run per schematic yes. It doesnt have to be a full 40 crate run, it can be 2 crates, even a run of a crate of 4 (Dunno why you would do this)

yes it does. i didn't mean to confuse you by pointing out that the casks don't need to be identical. just wanted to be sure that you knew. even though it doesn't let you make more than 20 crates of brandy at a time, what it does let you do is stock up making casks any time you want to, you don't need to run those just in batches with the other subcomponents.
