It would be my number # 1 issue if I were correspondent of any craft.

I really would like to remove the following badge:

Hey folks!

It occured to me the other day that one of things I'd like to see implemented most (apart from a serious revamp / buffing of our foods) would be the ability to drag and drop MULTIPLE items to and from our factory hoppers. I'd also like to be able to put more than one item up for sale at a time but that I can live with (click, enter, click, enter, click, enter)... but right about the time I'm halfway through loading 60+ crates of alcohol to make a whopping 12 crates of Mando Wine... yeah I start wishing I could have just highlighted the lot and popped it in there.

What do you guys think... Would this be worth pushing for? Has anyone asked before? What do you think Higgs? Does this post make me look fat?

this is a wish list for every crafting proffession i think. at least let you put a backpack fileld with stuff in and have it extract the stuff from the back pack

On second thought, Higgins, you need to make this your primary concern. All of my usual sarcasm aside, this would literally cut hours off of my crafting time. If they are gonna make us get a buff that limits our crafting time, make em make time spent crafting more efficient. Imagine how much faster 30 factories of Mando Wine would go if we could drag and drop multiple crates.

Get this done and you will go down as the most uberest correspondent in the history of all correspondents.

I would be willing to murder several small children (ingame ) to have the simple ability to select 30 crates at once and put them ALL UP FOR SALE FOR THE SAME PRICE. Having to put each individual crate or item up for sale when you run a business that has you crafting in bulk (like Chef) is a pain in the arse.

The problem is... crafting professions are NOT supposed to be easy. You're NOT supposed to enjoy every second of it. If we were granted this then factories would suddenly take a lot less time as would stocking. Would that be nice? Sure. But what else would happen? People would make even more stuff than they already do.

And then what would happen next month? Someone would say "gah the most annoying thing about chef is that components have to match, please just change this one thing". And then you'd have 40 crates of mando wine being spewed out with one schem easy as pie cause moving the unmatched alcohols around to do it would be no hassle at all.

Idon't liketime spent moving stuff aroundtoo. Really, I don't. But asking for improvements that greatly reduce the "difficulty" (ok the annoyance)of being a chef just makes it that much easier for everyone to be one- or that much easier for one "top" chef to flood the market on their server so no one else has a chance. Neither of thosescenarios is appealing in my opinion.

Combat professions are very tedious in some things (say, running missions and shooting over and over at animals) and crafting professions should be as well, in my opinion. If it's too time consuming then sell less (in other words stock less!). Will save yourself lots of time.

I don't think it would go that far lark. I would much rather the factorys make stuff into crates of 1000 and we have a option to split the crate totally into equal stacks or one stack at a time. Along with being able to highlight a large amount of items to put on your vendor. As is who actually puts details on crafted items? I highly doubt anyone because its copy paste for each item.

I can appreciate what you're saying... but I don't really see mass-dragging as a game-breaking option. After all you still have the monumental task of gathering resources, gathering tapes, maintaining harvs and factories, crafting, cooking, and stocking... rinse, repeat. If anything would turn someone away from Chef as being "difficult"... I think it'd be one of these details.... not moving crates. Moving crates is not "difficult" per se... but rather damned annoying when most other crafting prof have to move a mere fraction of what we have to.

this wouldnt be my number one wish more than one a wish list.

and this wouldnt be game breaking. it takes what 2 minutes to move 40 crates of item x in to a input hopper? (5 at most) all we are asking is less stress on ourselves

Well I never said it was "game breaking" but then, if it's not that much of a "time sink" and so "annoying" why all the excitement about changing it? Seems kind of contradictory to me..
