Thread: How much difference is there between a 10 point and 12 point Chef?

Most vendors don't have a sign saying "Made by XX point Chef" so I wondered what difference it makes to the end product.
For example - Vasarian Brandy and Bivoli.
Can a 10 point Chef make +400/44min/21 use Brandy? How about +25 Bivoli?
I'm asking mainly because I saw a Chef in town today yelling about how he was paying for Chef skill items and would pay 'Millions' for the right items. I figured the difference in Quality must be worth these 'millions' somehow.
Anyone care to elucidate?
1. Synthsteak - 40% damage reduction, for 38 attacks, 25% filling
2. Air Cake - 35% dodge, duration,11% filling
3. Canape - 33% filling, 600/700+ to Focus and Willpower ( some players want 33% fill - some want bigger buff to f/w)
4.Vercupti - 67% filling, 1100+ to Health and Action and Willpower ( some players want 67% fill so they can eat something that's 33% with it - others don't care since the filling is so high anyway, they prefer the bigger buff)
5. Ahrisa – 33% filling, 300+ to focus, duration 44 min duration, 350+ to focus <---updated per Numen's post below
6. Brandy - 45 min, 50% filling,380/400+ to Mind and Focus and Willpower ( Uber players prefer the 45+ min brandy regardless of the buffdue to the ability to immediately drink another brandy when the buff runs out.A bigger buff brandy that's less than 45 minutes causes the dangerous "delay in drinking" another brandy...this delay could cost a PvP'er his/her life in a tough battle)
9. Thakitillo – 99% Def.vs.KD, 9-10 minutes, 44% filling
10. Pikatta Pie – 50% Dodge, 33% filling, duration
11. Blue Milk - 33% Filling, 680+ Mind
12. Havla – 100 recovery bonus (anything under 100 doesn't benefit the user), 24/26 heals (hit an even number since the heals are bugged. 24 =12 heals, 26 = 13 heals. 25 will get you 12.5 heals - but the .5 is useless), 33% fill
13. Citros Snowcake - +40 accuracy bonus, duration, 25% fill (there's rumor of a cap at 30, it's never been proved from what I can tell. Continue to try to hit high accuracy bonus in the meantime.)
14. Parwan Nutricake – 52+% HAM reduction, 90+% recovery bonus (results in 5 continuous burst runs), 25% fill
I'm rushing while doing this - so I may need to edit it. (and please correct me if I'm wrong on any of the above!) And by all means, this isn't set in stone...this is just what I've gathered from the boards of what people look for in food. (i.e. 45 minute brandy is sooo much more worth it than 41 minute brandy. keep the buff between 380 and 400 and you should be good. +/- 20 in buff isn't going to matter...whereas not being able drink another brandy for another 4 MINUTES could really matter) As an 11 point chef, I can get to 45 minutes and 50% filling and sell my 380+ brandy no problem.
Some foods you HAVE TO REACH a certain minimum or else they don't work (bah)...see Havla.
I need this list cuz I'm only an 11 point chef. Though I can't achieve UBER food...i.e. double buff vercupti...I can still sell what's needed. Uber is sometimes overkill - it is not true that you can't make good food without 12 points. Just work hard to get good resources and use bespin port and craft in research cities when you can and you should be just fine.

Now that I've got 12 pts, I can hit the lower filling ranges and still maintain +700/+1000 buff strengths but I've found that the higher filling, higher buff versions of these foods outsell the lower filling foods by at least 2 to 1.
