Thread: Possible Pricing for Additive tissues, from a BE for discussion
Light 354 480 720 990
Medium 552 510 1170 1440
Heavy 732 750 1512 1962
The biggest gain comes from using a quantity additive though... guess this will add variation as we all have different opinions.

Would anyone be willing to pay about 60-75k for a crate of Food? I start to highly doubt it :/
Customers are paying that much for food right now. That's without uber food with Bio-enhancements.
This post is exactly my arguement for not having BE additives mandatory (reducing requirements) the resources that BE's need always come at a premium. I'd hate for people to come to expect that.
Also, if BE additives become commonplace, food is going to be too powerful overall, and will be nerfed.

We all know that people always want the *best* shtuff available - we'll be yelled at for selling non-BE-enhanced food I bet
Expect and want are 2 completely different ideas.
People want guns enhanced with krayt tissue, they will seek out a weaponsmith that can make them and pay a premium. But Krayt tissue is hard to get, so no one expects weaponsmiths to have krayted weapons always in stock. That's how I'd like to see BE additives. The resources are difficult to get compared to Food resources, and you have to go to a BE to get them made. It's not as hard as Krayt tissue, but you buy a lot of food, and not a lot of guns. That's the trade-off.
I'm all about trade-offs by the way
Fortunately most of my business is supplying my PA, so they'll take what I give them, lol, since they get it free (or rather, they provide ingredients, I provide food.) I also have a Bio-Engineer in my PA willing to mass produce the additives, but don't know if he realizes yet the quantities I'm going to require, lol. Most likely I will provide my PA with the bio-engineered, in a barrell, stuff when I can, and when I can't, they will accept whatever I can provide at the time, or will be willing to wait for the better stuff.
As for paying clients, well all of mine at the moment are special orders, since I can't keep up with PA demand and stocking a vendor.
Lol, well that's off to a good start ![]()
My Dilema is which resources to focus on gathering, as I have my limits like everyone. Guess it's a little of everything until things settle down.
I was having a look at some of the foods I'd like to use and seeing what additives are best. It's going to be differnt for each depending on the effect I guess. Eg Blue milk is an instant effect, so I guess a duration additive does nothing for it.
