Anyone know or have done testing on the effectiveness of Pikatta Pie in PvP? Do you dodge more attacks from other players?

I do two things when I see a BH coming, hit aura and eat some pie. Well three things actually, I then chase down the BH and kill them. So yes, it works. Best to get BoH, flavor additive boost so you can always take one, and save the stomach for pie and steak. A cheaper solution would be accarragm with a flavor additive. Cheaper to make and pretty easy to get 21 uses instead of 6 on the BoH.

Let me give you a REAL answer instead of some Jedi bragging tough and overpowered they are. The REAL answer to your question is this;

Whatever the dodge bonus is, it will reduce the damage by half that. There is no dodge etc. I have tested this many many times.

For example, I make pie that is 52 dodge for about 30 minutes. When something hits me, it reduces the damage by 26 percent. I have tested it, and several of my friends have tested it. And it stacks on any defence you have. It does not however stack with Synthsteak.

My biggest combat sales are Breath of Heaven, Pie, Crispic, and Ruby Bliel. \

For grinding, or raids (DWB,Geo, space station, wookie instances)they are Blob Candy, Bofa Treat, Caf, and Pie.

So, as you can tell, Pie sells for me all the time. Only trouble I have, is keeping the 20K of milk a week comming in hehe.

A lot of jedi run for two reasons, they have no reason to fight and because they are personally not good at PvP. For me it is quicker to just kill the BH than it is to run from them. If you aren't good at PvP and panic, then yeah, you will run. If you keep your head and your missions is more than 80k, you should have the skills to put down any BH.

that's weird cuz when i tested my 54% pikatta it reduced the dmg i took in pvp from each shot from 338 to 330 which is a 2.5% damage decrease. i tried it in pve and got a 6.5% damage decrease. but i also noticed that it made the attacker miss me more often in both.

Yeah this doesn't seem to be a straight % decrease in damage. With my Master Defender Jedi, in PvE against a level 78 mob, damage done to me went down by 15% if I didn't have Force Aura running (+500 Defense), but with Force Aura running it only lowered the damage by 7.5%. I tried it in a duel with another jedi and it made no difference at all in the damage I took. It did seem to cause more misses, but didn't do extensive enough testing to find out for sure.

mmm I will do more testing, perhaps it is just a increase in defence now. I shall test it more. Can anyone post their defence vs **** and the hits... Mine might be so low, that the increase makes a HUGE difference.

Could I please ask one of you combat folks to post your defence and damage reduction. Then a few of us crafter folk to post the same and see what happens. I think my defence vs melee is about 55....... I usualy get hit by critters when doing a harvester run.

Just had another thought, mabey it acts like armor. so wearing a full suit of 6000 battle armor decreases the effects. or jedi / tka inate defence loweres the effect. Wow, just when I thought I knew what food really does hehe.
