I dont want to try and get the components until I know.

Well, from reading the other forums about the Master Chef Barrels, this problem has been going on for about a year. Looks like the developers don't really give a **edit** about players or problems in the game. I have been trying to figure out why my swoop decays 50 times faster than any house, harvestor, or factory.

Barrels have never worked, but they weren't added until Publish 6, so to be fair they've only been broken for two and a half months.

I haven't seen any estimate on barrels, probably because with all the work being done on big game systems (Jedi revamp, smuggler revamp, SL revamp, combat balance, space expansion) there's no real way to tell where smaller bugs are going to fit in. I'm not saying that it's not going to be fixed until after all that other stuff, its just that bug fixes are going to be fitting in and around the other stuff, so any estimate would be very vague and possibly incorrect.

The barrel fix is the #1 chef top issue, though, so I doubt it's just being ignored.

Hmm, what in past experience of chef development do you base that on. Also, I thought the stomach timer being fixed to 30 minutes was the number 1 chef issue.

This is why I need to read the forums more often - I just cranked out 200 Barrels, in anticipation of one of the best batches of Vasarian Brandy known to sentients, when I discover that I get three times the uses from a Cask.

My only question - once Barrels are fixed, will the fix apply to them retroactively (in other words, did I just waste tens of thousands of resources producing these things?)

Wait, you got the same as casks?!? At least that's an improvement, it used to give the same stack size as small glasses. So you used a barrel, and got an 18 or 21 dose stack?

Hmm, maybe it'll give bigger stack sizes with low-quantity drinks like BoH. Now if I only had some power conditioners...
