Thread: Havla?

I recently purchased some havla for my new character that is a master doc. My primary character is a MBH, hence why I like playing this one more. Anyway, I was told this is the stuff that allows really fast buffing. But when I took some and ran my macro for buffing to see if my recovery time would be really fast, my macro seem to work at the same pace as before. I saw no positive effects from the havla. Is there something else I need to take with it. I have been buffed before from a doc on this stuff and I think she did it in like 10 seconds for all six. the stats on this havla are:

stomach filling 33%

recovery time bonus 102

# of heals affected 25

I would appreciate any info. THX people

It should work fine. It only needs to be +100 to work. Just don't pay attention to the system messages telling you when you can heal.

I just put mine in F1-F6 and hit them all right away, it will take the game 6 seconds to do all the buffs.

It seems when you use it, the system messages that you are ready to heal again continue at the normal pace...but as the above poster mentioned, just fire away, and 6 seconds later you will have a fully buffed patient.

Lexy is right - the havla needs to be +100 or greater in order to work at all, but anything that meets that rating will cause your enforced recovery time to 0.

I just put my packs in my inventory and have 2 macros to use them. My speedy_buff macro is the same as my buff_all_stats macro, just without the pauses. The buff_all_stats macro goes something like this:

/healenhance health;

/healenhance constitution;

/healenhance strength;

/healenhance action;

/healenhance quickness;

/healenhance stamina;

The whole thing takes about 10 seconds (with havla) and the recovery messages follow along after.

The other thing to note is that the havla seems to last for 2 full buffs (12 healenhances) no matter what the pack says. Have your chef get the +100 and then use all remaining experimentation to up the charges.

For real on the +100 rating? One of the most popular chefs on our server is selling Havla with a +93 and a +97 rating. Is this really worthless? He also sells some +101 stuff, but I have a hard time believing he'd sell worthless stuff.

yes, +99 and lower is completely worthless. It's either a Yes or No in terms of working. +100 or higher = YES, +99 or lower = NO

The heals affected is bugged. 26 heals or 27 heals (the only 2 I've tested personally) really only yields 15 heals, enough for 2 1/2 buffs. So 2 uses lets me buff 5 people.

1 biv, 2 havla and I have a full stomach. So I'm limited to 5 buffee's per stomach.

Hopefully havla gets fixed soon, It's a real pain in the ass when it runs out halfway through a buff session. I suggest they either fix theuses or cut the filling in half.

Yes, it seems that havla only works above +100, and the system messages are not working correctly when you use it. I only use it when there's a shuttle coming soon, or if I need to get back into the field after cloning in PvP because of it's high filling.

I was hearing rumors that it might be nerfed.. That CMs were using it to go crazy on the battlefield and various other debauchery..

I used it not 20 mins ago in a battle on Lowca server. Working fine and yes +100 power. I made the mistake of buying a box of it without looking once, was +97 power .... may as well have eaten dirt for stomach filling for effectiveness.

Luck out there.

First thing..make sure your macro has no pauses programmed for normal buff delay.

As others have mentioned, ignore the system messages, they are only on a "normal" timer.

As a master doc/ master CM I love this stuff. Either a super quick buff set, or a huge stack of nasty disease and poison in very short order.

yes. Properly made Halva (100.0+) will let you buff and buff and buff without pausing. You can do a full set in under 10 seconds.

If you are on Eclipse, check my vendor.. I have 101.xx Halva with +25.xx Bivoli.

Enjoy!

and be very, very carefull - a few times now ive had to get back to the battle ASAP, so i havla's and buffed myself - ran off to the battle, and a bit later i had to heal myself.. normally i spam my heal-myself-macro when i need a heal, however if your still under the influence of havla, you may find that you heal yourself over and over again untill the havla wears off...

mental note: dont spam my healmacro when im under the influence - wasted a tonne of stims this way
