So far Ive got:
Apron- 200k
5 +1's- 1 mil
4 +1 1 +2 assembly- 65k
+4 +1- 5.35 mil
6,615,000
so far, only need a +6 one nd I will be complete.

I think I paid about 30 mil but mine is
1+9
1+4
1+5
1+3
on my server xp goes for about 2 mil a point now.
back when I first started someone I know found a +25 off a nightsister we all laughed and said who'd ever want to be a chef.........

My server it goes abput 2 mil per point when it get above like +5, I went from vendor to vendor and finnaly found one with about 300 of them, I look ed thorugh every one and found 5 +1 and the assembly tapes.

I'm going to guess around 20 millon creds for the better part of it and my last tape a very nice customer just gave to me

11 mill. 
8 mill on a +8 and 3 mill for a +5 (was very pleased) then my apron and 2 +1 which i got given.

ANother Chef on Shadowfire recently bought out a full suit on the forums, i think in two pieces of clothing, for like 13 mil.
most of the big chefs by then had there own suits though, and some of the smaller ones just cant toss around that kinda money.

I actually came to the Starsider server after being a PvP fiend on other servers. I was tired of it, and decided to start fresh. I had done some of the crafting professions, and they were alright. But I wasnt that impressed.
I had actually taken a hiatus from the game. Then some of my friends started playing it again for fun, so I came along. I picked up Chef just for the hell of it.
FOUR DAYS after coming back to SWG....one of my friends loots a +14 Food Exp tape off of Lord Nyax.

So yeah, I got a head start. I purchased the other points for 700k to 1mil per point. Right now I am +25 Exp and +26 Assembly. I was extremely lucky. Especially considering that Food Exp is going for a minimum of 1.5 mil per point nowadays. as high as 3 mil per point for the larger SEAs.
Oh yeah....and just to add this: I love being a Chef more than anything else in the game. I just like making food. Can't explain it. I love it. I almost quit this game entirely....and now thanks to Chef I dont know if I will quit even in another YEAR.

I traded my old +20 WS expirement suit for a +24 Assembly, +20 expirement suit ( I think I got the better part of the deal lmao).

I paid 3mil for my first 12 points:
chef hat +4
apron +5
simple belt +3
tosomeone who was quitting chef.
Then 6 mil for the next 8:
Tan and BlackCrafter's pants +5
Black hide boots +1
Black gloves +1
White blouse +1

Back in the day I paid 8mil total for my original suit
+8 shoes, +4 gloves, +5 shirt, +3 pants
However I recently bought a +11 chef tape for 17mil just to eliminate the need to wear some of the other stuff.
