I went in today and converted my chef be to chef tailor, spent a few minutes looking at stuff, could not make myself look around much more right now. One I was given skill tapes to bring me to 12 point artisan and chef just a month ago. Well now I am a 8 point chef, with out my clothes I am a 6 so they took all that away. Food has all changed to maybe usefull items, but untill I use em I will not know. Crafting machanics seem to be the same. But I had my doc out now as a ranged medic to kill stuff and when I looted a creature there was nothing but an eyeball on one and nothing on the other. SO that makes me wonder umm how can food crafting continue when there is no resourses, but heck I got houses full a resourses so I may be the longest lasting one. No I know there are many that have as much as I do. But I don't like how there has been nothing said about the resourses thing. Same with my entertainer, I did the test center yesterday and made it to master entertainer in one day and it was fun to a point but I can't see any real thing to keep anyone there. The buffs we popular tho. But after the initial quests entertainer missions are the same as always. I will go back in a while but I was heartsick when I saw my points go down to 8. That doesn't really give you much experimentation at all. Everything looks just the same just less. I found I could do everything with the ui but it just is so much more cumbersome, like after you use something and you close your inventory the curser goes back to cross hairs so you have to hit alt again. to look at anything you have to hold the curser there and then hit tilde so I dont know how that is going to work with alot of stuff.

Just my overall impression is unless this food with stats like 3 to 8 to stamina, strength and precision really make a difference my crafter will be history, my I think they might have that planned anyway. Also still no show of lots. And also I have not found my stomach yet but the filling stats are still there. Sorry no more details ... sorta in shock.

I am Jack's complete lack of suprise. The way every other crafting profession has been horribly **edit** by the NGE, I'm not suprised that we are as well.

well I should not a posted that quickly cause I went in to check and see what difference suppliments made and I had some canapes there so I started on them, well I don't know a lot but now I get my whole 12 points, what I made before was ruby and I had only 8 so I still have to figure out what the heck the deal is. Just so confusing and well you can move furniture too just target it and then use tilde all so much harder, I just wish they would just let us toggle between the old ui and this one cause maybe in some cases this is better but man moving around in a house just well is bad, too fast running into walls and I am old and not as coordinated as this younguns. I really wanna like this but I am having a hard time. And just a bad feeling.

and your additive still make a big difference but we have the recipes for additives and they still take a tissue, and so far I can't see any way to make em. I made a canape with a add and it was in the 30's in agility but 15 is set in stamia and constitution. with out i got 16in agility and then the same in the other two stats, you can still control the duration and filling with xp points. And it seems that pre nge and after unless they change something are converted close which means at least that my stock will be as much use as the new stuff but we have to find out what that is. I am gonna be checking this if anyone has any questions post em here and I will try it out. I am not very good as a beta tester I tend to freak out really fast.

The reason you had 8 exp points when making Ruby Bliel is because Master Domestic Traders in the NGE are Master Chef / Master Tailor / Master Merchant / and 0444 Artisan. You're missing the the otherexperiment points because we cannot be Master Artisans. Even with Master Artisan we would have 12 exp points with and Artisan Exp suit, because they removed all species bonuses. Humans could have up to 14 experiments points before.

Thank you for your report. I was hoping that we would be able to make our own food additive tissues, rather than just converting them from tissues to food additives. This still needs to be cleared up, as what is the point of having a schematic to convert tissues to additives if no one at all can make any of the tissues?

PLEASE TELL US:

1. Are there the same light/medium/heavy additives?

2. Who makes the tissues now?

the additives are all the same now the same numbers and all.And I said the recipes call for tissues and I dont think anyone is making em. I was just on my dancer and there is no big change but the ui there and while I was there a person came in and said she worked in walmart and said she has seen the preorders and there is a pc version and a console version. The only thing I was thinking could save this for me was a change in the ui and now that there is console versions I think that is screwed. I am just getting more and more upset.

Currently no one can make tissues. If you can make them now, best to go ahead and make them. It is likely they will drop tissues out of the game. Due to the lack of meat harvesting, this is likely.

what i meant is that the additives that were like 116 heavies were still 116 and so on, they stayed the same. No I didn't try the lights in heavies or anything I just saw that there was a big difference still in using the recommended tissues and not using em. I just went on my medic and well this game is doomed if it stays like it is on test corbantis. There so far is no way of knowing what kind of damage you are doing just attack and dead.Of course by the numbers in the air. I can't figure out how to even heal. I was playing with other experienced people and they said the same thing there are serious broken things. The chef I think is prob just ignored I would not depend on anything to stay the same after it goes live cause nothing has been changed. Only what they are targeting on like the new way of combat, nothing else has been taken into consideration. I really can't believe they are doing this.. Oh i wish everyone could get a chance to go in try it. This is the first time since the jedi revamp I been on it. This might be good for some people but no one I know so far. I was even thought if only they changed the ui it would work but not after going into my medic. If all you wanna do is shoot at something this is fine but well that seems to be all that is left.

Sorry this got on the chef board.. I am just in disbelief , you can't imagine how broken it all is!

I just have to echo Ajja on this.

I haven't spent a whole lot of time on TC, but from what I can tell, stats on food without BE tissues are a lot different (seems to be about half) than food with BE tissues.

As an example, my Breath of Heaven without BE had stats of +30 Agility, +30 Con. With BE, it was +66 Agility, +30 Con. I think the heavy food additive I used was 116 NB, but I don't really recall. (I didn't think to write it down at the time--sorry).

On experimentation points -- I'm really confused. It doesn't seem to matter if I have my+24 food experimentation boots on. However, drinking my +24 experimentation bonus Bespin Port (which can be crafted with BE, without it's +18 for me), seems to reduce the chance that experimenting will fail. For me, Crispics and several other foods only have 6 experimentation points. Air Cake and others had 12 exp points.

I didn't test with chef tissues, but with my tailor tissues: the BE tissues had the same stats as they did before. Cloth and panels made pre- or post- NGE had the same stats as the BE used in them. Clothes made with pre- or post- NGE BE cloths and panels seem to have the same stats. I'm going to take a wild guess that chef tissues and additives are going to be the same, with the added bonus that chef tissues don't specify the resulting food's stats -- only the nutrition or flavor.

I'm in the process of making everything with/without BE and writing down the stats. I'll add them to my guild's website and post a link shortly.

Hope this helps,
