I am having great fun with all my testing but tonight I came across something odd. I want to be sure it wasn't just me

I have been using approximately the same high-quality ingredients in the three triple-stat-boosting drinks and I was able to experiment the brandy to +233 and the accarragm to +227.

The problem came when I started to experiment on Garrmorl. I used OQ 968, DR 768, SR 616 scaley hide and OQ 930, DR 832, SR 609 bone. When I combined these ingredients with my alcohol and container, both the duration and the nutritional value started at 7% and could only be experimented up to 31% (+178 to all three for 39 minutes, 30 seconds)

Of course, buff is based on 66% PE and 33% OQ while duration is 66% FL and 33% OQ. And, of course, scaley hide and bone have no PE or FL so it looks like these stats are being counted as zero.

Is this the case for other people as well? If so, is there something we can do about this?

Cheers!

yes, that's the way it works for everybody. In fact, addressing this issue is part of what birthed the whole container concept in the first place. As I recall SV said the remaining recipes with ingridients that had "missing stats" would be tweaked by hand, but it doesn't appear that the tweaking ever happened.

Seeing as how it didn't get fixed in the revamp, I'd take that as the Devs telling us this "faeture" is "working as intended". Don't expect a fix.

Back not too long ago this was patched to TC, for ALL crafting professions, so for armorsmiths, it meant things like Known solid petro fuel which had no shock resistance or malleability, would be counted as 0, thus reducing stats MASSIVELY on all crafted goods.

Id like to bump this, get a lot of tells asking for the health version of brandy and it makes me look like a bad chef that it cant have as good a buff as the brandy does. Would love to see this fixed.

Actually,

With a decent nutrition additive, it isn't so bad (relatively) - I've gotten mine (as a pike, I rely heavily on the stuff) up to about +310-+340. True, not as good as brandy, but at 39 filling (on the mix), and a duration of about 40 mins, it's not so bad.

That's not the point. Regardless of how good you can get it currently, there are 2 stats missing from all of the ingredients.

Something needs to be changed (either the ingredients, or the stat requirements).

Simple code change I would be satified with would be...

Where stat= null, then value = 500

Currently...

Where stat= null, then value = 1

Hotfix this NOW and fix your code later. Better to meet us halfway rather than ignore this problem. This effects EVERY CRAFTER. Use this as a fix until they either change the stat used or the resource needed.

Hi, yesterday i made some Garrmorl for testing.

You need Bones & Hides for it... as they have no PE and no OQ you can't experiment on Nutrition ?

Is this right ?

Well, the resources have OQ, just no PE (so you get bad Nutrition) and no Flavor (so you get bad duration).

Even if you get your hands on 900+ OQ hide/bones, it would still max out at around 29% in those two categories, giving you roughly +175 H/S/C for 38m30s, plus whatever additive bonus you've got. You need really good OQ bones/hide to get above +300 even with a good additive.
