hey SWG chefs,
since droid engineeringseems a little too difficult, i am considering entering a culinary arts school when i am finished with the military. naturally, i was curious to see if there were any real life chefs around this forum to offer me some advise. also,to anyone who mighthave a view on 'cheffing' i would welcomeany input.
thefew internet searches i have tried haven't beenvery successful, so links to any usefull sites would be appreciated also.i've narrowed down the school that i would like to attend, and it is near my home town in Northern Michigan, so i am mainly interested in the aspects ofa chef's career. is it fun, fufilling, monetarily rewarding? also, being in the military, i enjoygreat job security.for a motivated hard worker, does a chef enjoy ameasure of stability?
sorry to distract youall from the game, and i can't wait to get back to SWG and tryoutall of the new stuff.

Hey, this is a cool post!
Although I do enjoy rl cooking and baking, I'm not a chef by trade. I can, however, direct you to a great site with a ton of fellow foodies who can likely point you in the proper direction.
If you go to Craigslist, you'll be introduced to a world where people enjoy talking about food, recipes, cooking school, and the finest restaurants across the country (though they're primarily SF, Bay Area based because, hey, we have fantastic restaurants here!) 24 hours a day. But remember, no trolling. Trolls are eaten for breakfast, alongside scones and clotted cream.
Let me know if you find anything interesting. It's one of my favorite forums around, and oh yeah, good luck with cooking school! Any chance we SWG chefs will get to share in the food education you'll be receiving? It'd make a really cool rl addition to this forum.
...And for today's lesson, we'll be learning all about roux! Heh heh. Totally fun.
