Thread: All these chefs and yet we haven't shared recipes
I'm not a Chef in RL, but I like to eat. ![]()
1 pound hamburger
Teryaki sauce
2 boxes Kraft dinner
Fry hamburger, drain, place back in frypan, drench in Teryaki sauce with heat still on.....repeatedly.
Prepare KD normally, remove from heat and stir in hamburger.
Oysters, bit of mushrooms, spinach, cream cheese on top, chuck em under the grill, eat em, die, go to heaven.

I'm a dessert person myself, so enjoy!
I've seen this recipe done by others in varying degrees, but this is what's in my family. We call them Chocolate Crinkles. I list ingredients as I use them, feel free to substitute with your own favorite brands. This recipe yields quite a bit (about 3-4 dozen), so if you aren't making them for a party, then cut it in half at least ... or shackle yourself to the other side of the room ...believe me, you won't be able to stop eating them ...
2c sugar
½c salad oil (Wesson vegetable oil/canola oil/anything used for baking)
2tsp vanilla
4oz melted chocolate (Baker's unsweetenedchocolate squares)
4 eggs (not found in womp rat garbage)
2c flour (Pillsbury BEST All Purpose)
2tsp baking powder (Clabber Girl)
½tsp salt
1c confectioners sugar
Melt chocolate (you can do this in the microwave or on stovetop, but by all that is holy don't scorch it - that nasty taste will carry through and ruin even the best looking cookie)
Mix oil, vanilla, chocolate, and sugar in large bowl.
Blend in eggs one at a time.
Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.
Refridgerate for 3 hours at least.
Heat oven to 350°F.
Roll about a teaspoon sized lump of mixture into a ball and dip top in confectioners sugar. (I use a melon-ball scoop to make them bite-sized; adjust baking time accordingly; be sure to dip your utensil/hands in water - as the mixture becomes more room temperature, it tends to get sticky and cause you untold heartache - consider yourself warned)
Place balls evenly apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 min.
The confectioners sugar won't bake into the cookies - it will be a nice topping as the cookie 'crinkles'; or powder them to your heart's content.

2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
pinch salt
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 12-ounce box fettuccine pasta
(or your choice of pasta)
1.Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium/low heat.
2.Add the garlic, cream, pepper and salt, and bring mixture to a simmer. Turn the heat down if the mixture reaches a rapid boil or it could boil over. You just want a simmer. Add the cheese, and continue to simmer sauce for 8 minutes or until thick.
3.While sauce cooks, bring 4 to 6 quarts of water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook pasta for about 12 minutes or until done, then drain it.
4.Spoon pasta onto serving plates with Alfredo sauce poured over the top.
