Hi folks,
Once, a friend of mine told me he was making 20 million credits a day, and he was trying to be the richest chef in the server.
Is it possible? How much do you make?
And what is your ultimate strategy?

The days I stock, I make more money... it's really a shame I don't stock stuff more often.

well i am new, so i have yet to see any real income... most of it is just making back what i have put into it. My goal is to try and put myself in the top 5 on flurry. Its unrealistic for me to think i can compete with eerif.

i have varying days. like some days i make nothing others i make (my all time high was 6mil) alot. a good weekend for me is 3-4mil over the weekend. Like others have said its all about location. i have a vendor in a guild town and it does fairly well mostly guildies though but i have avendor outside of kaadara, naboo that does extremely well. If there isnt already try opening a lil BH mall with food and bh droids and add whatever you can find. a one stop shop for these items will net alot of visiters and this area is (least on lowca) fairly empty of shops.

over 20mil in a day is completely possible. Retaining that amount, however unlikely, is also possible as well, if you have a large enough establishment.

I found myself able to retain 15mil a day around June, however due to RL stuff, I only stock periodically, and there are more sales on those days now.

1) You first and foremost concern is to establish yourself with the community. If you have to Move your vendors to where they congragate then do so!!! If they are on dantoonie like my server move there. If they are on coronet Move there.. So on and so forth. People DO NOT like to travel for some crazy reason. I have no idea why but they dont...

2) When Starting out keep your Prices low. Start at 2x or 2.5 profit margin at what it casts to make it. Check the bazaar and compare your food to other Chefs and see what they charge. Then decide from there.

3) Customer Service - A Big one for me... Talk with the people who brought your food see what they like and want.. Maybe they were looking for something else at your store and you did not have it.. Talking to them will give you a general idea what the Public wants. When starting out keep a list of people who brought stuff from you and then Email them when you make a batch of the good stuff. IE: Pikatta Pie, BoH or mandorian wine.

Thats the best advice I can give.

As for the Money Be patient it will come.. As for the person that made 20 million a Day. There is no way humanly possible to keep up with that much food Unless your selling crates for 300k to 400k a pop and stocked up on day one before you opened. Do the math, for 20 million, you would have to sell 66 Crates at 300k to make 20 million. 20 Million a week is surely possible. But, When the days of Brandy, Ahrisa and Canapes was kingI was making a Solid 7 Million+ a day. Hell, I have 6 food factories running and I cant keep up with what the public wants. I average about0 to 4 million a day. Not taking into account what it cost to make.. Somedays you will go without no one buying a thing and then BLAM! Everything sold out...

But, Hell I might be wrong!!! Believe it or not!!

I am one of the few chefs on our server so competition isn't that bad plus the other Chef's sell rather hi where as I sell most of my Chef Items at 75k and I make on average between 5-10mil a day.

But I have 29 Factories running non stop and dedicate alot of time to it.

In the early days I was one of the Best Weaponsmiths on my server and I find chef alot more entertaining the Weaponsmith was. It takes alot to be a good chef with alot of stock and thats what I like.

My ultimate strategy is not to be like your friend.

That being said, while I do pull in quite a few credits every day most goes back into resources and other expensesso what I actually "make" is probably not much. But then, amassing wads of credits isn't exactly the point.

Varies. 6 weeks ago I was makign 6m a day now less as I got Jedi, took over 2 malls and i just haven't had the time ingame as I did before. THo I have just put on more stock than I've ever had and am about to start advertising again. Thing is Chimeara is full of Chefs. Maybe only 5-6 good ones but still quite a few new Chefs so competition is fierce.
