Varies. 6 weeks ago I was makign 6m a day now less as I got Jedi, took over 2 malls and i just haven't had the time ingame as I did before. THo I have just put on more stock than I've ever had and am about to start advertising again. Thing is Chimeara is full of Chefs. Maybe only 5-6 good ones but still quite a few new Chefs so competition is fierce.

Would you class me as one of the good ones?(seriously tho, im always interested in objective criticism, so tell me where you would place me in the Chimaera market)
I make anywhere from nothing to about 4mill/day, with an average of about 2-2.5mill. I find it comes and goes in waves, and there seems to be no way to predict what my sales are likely to be untill I log in, and see the emails.
I have to admit that I dont just sell foods tho. I sell Food/Drink/Food Packs/InstaStims/Vehicles and LS Res Packs. My vendors are located in probably the most Chef competitive area in the Chimaera galaxy... I used to make about 50% of my sales in LS Res, and 50% in Chef food until 3 competitors appeared selling LS packs, now my income is the same, but its about 90% Chef based.
I don't want to name names but I think those that are at the top end know if they are or not tbh. Also sales don't lie generally. If you're good you may not sell as much without influences like advertsing but if your sales are consistent and in the millions then it's fair to say that you're doing pretty well.
Like you I find no way to predict sales tho I will say that with everything I have done in game of late taking time away from Chef I feel like I have dropped quite a bit. My sales are a little shabby atm but I fully expect they wil lbe back on track soon enough....

Chef is the greatest crafting profession in my opinion. You get to make food. Nummy!
20 million is very doable. It really depends on a few things. How much time your willing to put into it is huge. How long you've been doing it and saving up decent resources. Getting a game plan down and learning where you can cut corners and what you can do to shave some time off baking and stocking. I jotteddown a quick 10step plan for a newly mastered Chef who wants to spend mucho time on a profession and make a billion credits every 3 months. Its up on the swgcraft forums.
The two best things you can do to help your business is to keep it STOCKED(2000full crates)and have a variety. I'm talking variety as in Crispic, BoH, Accaragm, Mando, Ahrisa using both the nutrition and flavor adds. Ruby Bliel the cheap version and the spendy version using filling reducer adds. There's a few more I'm forgetting.
You keep it stocked and word of mouth spreads.. every single time someone mentions in group or on guild chat that this chef is out of this and this.. someone else will pipe up and say.. Hey! Check out the 2000 crates at this persons vendor. Blam! Another full time customer. Having Uber resources are great.. but with these first two steps covered.. you can get by with good to great resources.
Bah.. I really shouldn't talk about Chef.. I start typing and have trouble stopping.
Actually.. check this out. I took a screen shot of the Merchant's Friend utility. Awfully cool program to track sales. I love it! Only problem I ever had with it is that it takes forever to load with 3 or 4 months worth of data. If your business takes off.. I suggest archiving the information within this utility every month or more.
This screen shot is 120 days of business selling foods. The final total is a bit skewed since I dropped a vendor and sold 119m worth of ADK's to a few customers but the rest is Chef food/drink.
