Thread: Making Appetizers Out Of Entrees
Well... I could post about my healthy worries and fears with the direction that the schematics seem to be taking, but I'm not going todo that.
Positive... must focus... on something... positive....
As I recall, a couple weeks ago, something was mentioned (by Sir Vimes??) to the effect of the Dev's were making Chefs a profession that would be vital to SWG. What I'm seeing in the Sneak Peek ain't it. Those bonuses are nice... some are even quite useful. But I'm failing to grasp what makes a Chef so vital that the game cannot exist without them. I led myself to believe that they were going to make foods/drinks a necessary everyday function in SWG (rememberances of the "you are hungry" message a la EverQuest). Do we have any word on this? Does the statement "Chefs will be revamped into a vital profession" still ring true? At present, Chef's are not vital. We do provide a service, but it is an optional service that most players elect to utilize. In a way I like that, and in a way I don't. If, by our terms, we get "downgraded" a bit on our buffs during this upcoming revamp, I would like to see making foods a vital everyday function an option. If not, I would prefer to keep foods/drinks an optional service.
Give him time to look, I don't think anyone will have time if they are on TC.

Gah, I stop reading for a few days because work is busy and the revamp comes out.
Is there another thread that has other info on the revamped drinks and desserts trees?

Actually, this sucks...tonight and tomorrow night are my bussiest nights this week.
YEah, tell me about it. Last weekend the honey is out of town so I engage geek mode to full, play SWG and Jedi Academy till I'm toasty and order pizza to boot. THIS weekend, I'm headed out for an Airsoft event and now they drop the chef patch when I will be away from the computer for4 days.
No Justice I tell ya.
