There were rumours that it was changing. And a +400 Pet buff is REALLY BAD.
Man, I'm always out of the rumor mill loop - the curse of not being a TC chef I guess ![]()
BTW, on another note, can anyone on TC definitively say that pre-patch food crates are fixed now? I haven't seen any confirmation that the fix on the dev internal serversmade it to the TC server, and to the publish.
And that makes me nervous ![]()

Are Casks supposed to give General Crafting xp?
No clue on "supposed to", but they do.

The Quantity bar in the experimentation window doesn't work for me. I have tried with Breath of Heaven and Thakitillo and no matter how many points i put in quantity, it does nothing.
I just /bugged it but wanted to post here too. I'm assuming that since the bar is there we're supposed to be able to still use it right?

Some of the higher-level foods have a really narrow quantity range. I think BoH is something like 2-3, so you'd have to get above 50% to get a single dose increase (more if you're using casks or barrels). Of course, if you've gotten to like 75% and still have two doses, it may only be able to come out in that size (not counting containers).
That's totally understandable when it comes to drinks, because of the containers, but the very low quantities on food are upsetting. The tallest stack of thakatillo I was able to make was 2, using fantatsic ingredients. Pre-patch, I never made anything in stacks smaller than 4. Quantity experimentation doesn't appear to be working at all on any level food, though, not just master stuff.
I've also noticed the lack of change in the stack size. The best BoH I have made today had 3 doses, prepatch I was getting 25 to a stack.
Yes, barrels are definitely bugged and I have the exact issue with Thakitillo, 2 uses with nice ingredients.
It seems to me that experimentation on foods does little to nothing beyond what the initial food stats are. I have found that with 7 experimentation points, and full out on one catergory, only results in a weak increase of 1 or 2 points. same for duration, quality, filling....
